Dude, I totally agree with you! TDK was a terrible movie in all the ways you said. Ledger as Joker was a joke! (no pun intended) What I know about Joker, is that he is a killer, but has a laugh while doing it, In TDK, Joker kills with no laugh :( And the fact that Nolans films are realistic, is questioned when you see Bane and Catwoman. I mean, how is a guy being overdosed on steroids and a woman getting powers by cats realistic?! Good video man!
bane is awesome and extremely underrated but seeing as this is a "realistic" nolan point of view i thought he wouldve made the riddler or hugo strange or somebody more realistic in the 3rd movie. venom doesnt exist and no steroid in real life could make a man that huge but oopps i forgot bane ISNT huge in this movie. hes NOTHING like his comicbook or animated series counter part. but i agree catwoman is a lame villian nothing more than a furry
@DirectorCM yeah just look at sam raimi's spiderman movies. spiderman is WAY too lame and emo and they focus more on peter parker and mary jane more than spiderman kicking ass, making jokes, and saving the day. nothing against tobey but hes a lousy spiderman
I have NEVER read the Batman comics so my word by default carries less wait. But, I have done my research and read the biographies, so I do know A LITTLE. I have immensely enjoyed the new movies. I thought Batman Begins was amazing and thought the Dark Knight was a pretty awesome movie. But I enjoyed your review and your passion Chris. I am worried about the new movie because, like you, I agree the villain choice is CRAP! I was hoping for Mr. Freeze and The Riddler. Good rant thou my friend. :)
@DirectorCM True that my friend. The scars and the story explanation was a bit repetitive. No doubt it was there for the dramatic effect which always makes the fans of the original work cringe.

Unfortunately, Hollywood Will Always Destroy Great Characters.
They Take What You Love About The Original Comics And Rip It To Shreds.

Batman Begins Was Okay...I Find Myself Falling Asleep Half Way
Through Every Time I Try To Watch It. Dark Knight Just Made Me Cringe
As I Sat In The Theater Next To 5 Bunch Of Pre-Teen Kids Who Knew
Nothing Of The Batman Before Bale. I Should Have Mentioned
That I Didn't Think Heath Ledger Was A BAD Joker. I Just Think That The Script
People Ruined A Good Origin Story. And Also....Those Damn Scars !
Did We Really Need To Hear About Them Every Time Joker Spoke To Someone New?

The Dark Knight Rises? Isnt that the one where a villain threatens Gotham and Batman has to save everyone?
Its the same movie over and over, right?
