  • Can't believe I missed these three films Mike. Very good. The shot back along the pier at the 7 minute mark, it looks like the tracks continue underneath the concrete. Wouldn't it be interesting to see if they did?. All the best ....Tim.

  • @siobhan104 It is believed they are still there and right back into the corner of the yard where full wagons of iron ore were stored, waiting for ships.I have seen an old photo showing a steam crane there also and piles of coal and wood. Also surplus stone ballast from ships.

  • Great vid

  • @dtremzo Thank you for your kind comment!

  • I very rarely see videos and pics people take of me. Thanks. Professor Popcorn

  • @prof24601 I am glad to have done so. You bring lots of pleasure to many families!

  • You're a great ambassador for Somerset Mike, beautiful images so professionally captured...and a joy to watch.....Bob

  • @robmasterman Thanks Bob. Watchet and South Wales must have been much less photogenic when the Iron Ore trade was flourishing! I have seen old photos of loads of coal piled high, from the returning ships. But that is what payed for progress!

  • @togreektown Thanks Wayne. I remember some of the names you mention from the days of my youth! Prince Edward Island, for example, I seem to have an association in my mind with some great music.
