I did something very similar...but instead I used 4 peltiers that were said to consume 90 watts each. I didn't go scientific with it, or even care about the numbers, and all I did was put the peltiers in series and plug it into one of my high voltage (8-52 volt) dc-dc adapter that would give me a constant 5 volts at whatever amperage it could supply. I charged my Samsung Fascinate off of it during power outages, and when I would go camping, or somewhere that I knew I wouldn't have power for days
I think it is fantastic, whats in the black box? Is this your high temp module? Thanks, I plan to build something to maintain electronics on longterm outdoor trips.
