@SkyrimTimeWithDsk They found their state of living satisfactory like many other tribes in the world still. There people are lucky in a way, to be ignorant of the state of the world today and how our Earth is slowly dying. If only we were so lucky to have their ignorance and lack of real worries.
@luks655 Oh, really? You know my life that well? How about you read the context of my comment more closely instead of making blind assumptions. I'm speaking of the world as a whole. Im speaking of our corrupt governments, our dying environments, all our deseases out here, our individualistic mentalities, our much more uncivilized behaviours and settings. They don't know about it and lucky them. Lucky them for not having to ever expirience it. If only we all, including you were so lucky.
@lostchild06 Hey. do you really not think that they are free from diseases. they suffer more from deseases than we do. they don't even have the medicine to cure common illnesses and it results in death. if you would've watched the whole documentary maybe you would've caught that. I'm just saying that scrounging for your next meal every day is a bit more worrying than individualistic mentalities and 'uncivilized behaviors.' I will continue in another comment.

@lostchild06 I was wrong to assume that about you but the fact that you are writing to me right now means that you have had an education and access to information. they can't afford that luxury. they don't have the time or energy to ponder on questions of philosophy. what I mean when I say that their problems are more real than yours is that no matter what, you will be completely sure that you will have a healthy breakfest lunch and dinner tomorrow. they aren't. and that is the most real worry.
@luks655 Actually, their food resources I am sure are a lot more healthier than what 50% of the world is eating right now, especially the western world. Im sure their health and isolation from our world gives them less chances of catching the deseases roaming around in our world. They are at the state human beings were always meant to be in.
@lostchild06 Actually it is because of their lack of good and reliable food resources that they haven't been able to make as many advancements as europeans. So I think it is ridiculous to say that their food is better. you are lucky to have what you have. If to you, having an average lifespan of 40 is being healthier than you just can't be reasoned with. In fact, if I would've been born in one of those villages I would've died at the age of 9 because of apendicitis. An easily treatable problem.
@luks655 How do you know? They clearly live around a lot of vegetation and seafood. They clearly do exercise by hunting and fishing everyday. They clearly get more nutrients in their diet that day than we do in a whole week, and sometimes a whole month. Many westeners suffer of malnutrition, even when they are obese becasue we don't get the nutrients we need. Fast food has influenced our lives so much that even meats in our markets are raised, cut, and packaged for fastfood.
This is amazing yea; amazing to document for any future survivors, because it shows exactly who caused and how exactly the world comes to be that way it is today....
Wait, can't they die if we touch them? Supposedly stuff like the common cold, measles and other infections that is not very harmful to us, can be deadly to them.
@malaihiboi Are you and your ancestors indigenous to the Americas? Are you Native American or am I wrong? From my mom side it's Native Americans and Whites from Spain. From my dad side it's Africans and also whites from Spain.
Fascinating! I lived in Lae, Papua New Guinea for a few months and although they were more civilized than those in the video, you could still sense the quiet curiosity and their desire to be close to you. They were easy to make laugh, very touchy feely and once you were considered a friend, you became their "wontok" and they would hold your hand everywhere you went as a sign to others you belonged to their family and they wuld protect you fiercly if needed. Thanks for the post and the memories!
They're more than likely all dead now, after years of genocide. We all know Genocide and white people are interrelated. I'm sure there are houses all over this land, owned by white people who through manipulative and destructive practices robbed it of its real owners.
@UniverseOffspring Damn dude the most deaths in the modern world today done because of genocide are done in Africa by blacks killing other blacks because their from a different tribe. And it has nothing to do with whitey since the tribes had been enemies long before whitey showed up.
@UniverseOffspring I'm sorry I was trying to teach you that you don't have to be white to be racist. And about the horrifying disfigurments done to blacks by their fellow blacks because they were born to the wrong tribe like lips cut off, arms cut off, women 's breast cut off so they're forced to watch their babies die slowly from starvation. Please go back to being a racist prick.
@copperkipper1 Salt is much more useful (used to cure meats etc). There was a time when salt was worth more than it's weight in gold. I suspect there's parts of the world where this is still true.
This is the same way the Europeans tricked the Africans and Native Americans into being friends then tried to kill me off or enslaved them! They have every right to be worried.
these are the most incredible and exciting moments i'v ever experienced in my life....................thank you very much Jean-Pierre Dutilleux and philip for this brave encounter
This video is a fake. And anyone looking at the film quality who thinks this is 1976 is retarded. Jean Pierre Dutilleux is a fraud and is not in any way a proper scientist.
It sickens me that something that would be fantastically interesting is trivialized and dumbed-down for the sake of turning a buck
this is disputed as fake by several anthropologists. The tribe is about a 2 days walk from an administrative district with airport, traffic, etc. There are reports of tribes agreeing to act in these films for compensation.
This might have been true in 1950, but not by 1976.
@Rusty350 Too bad its not set-up then :S There was a similar "accident" not that many years ago when a chopper flew over an island with natives on it that had never seen anything like it and started throwing spears at it cause they thought it was some "monster" or creature
@Cetchupboys Im sure our first intention would be to try and make contact and make a peace offering with them. The last thing we want is to start a war with a species with more advanced technology. If a war does start we would then experiment on them and find their weaknesses to win.
Animals.

SuperDrRockzo 2 months ago 5
@SuperDrRockzo Your comment is hilarious if you consider the people of New Guinea in the video used to practice cannibalism not to long ago.
zombiebunny17 1 month ago
They're more than likely all dead now, after years of genocide. We all know Genocide and white people are interrelated. I'm sure there are houses all over this land, owned by white people who through manipulative and destructive practices robbed it of its real owners.
UniverseOffspring 2 months ago
@UniverseOffspring Damn dude the most deaths in the modern world today done because of genocide are done in Africa by blacks killing other blacks because their from a different tribe. And it has nothing to do with whitey since the tribes had been enemies long before whitey showed up.
zombiebunny17 1 month ago 2
@UniverseOffspring I'm sorry I was trying to teach you that you don't have to be white to be racist. And about the horrifying disfigurments done to blacks by their fellow blacks because they were born to the wrong tribe like lips cut off, arms cut off, women 's breast cut off so they're forced to watch their babies die slowly from starvation. Please go back to being a racist prick.
zombiebunny17 1 month ago
@zombiebunny17 Thanks, I'll try.

why not sugar?
copperkipper1 2 months ago
@copperkipper1 Salt is much more useful (used to cure meats etc). There was a time when salt was worth more than it's weight in gold. I suspect there's parts of the world where this is still true.

are u fucking kidding me?

This is the same way the Europeans tricked the Africans and Native Americans into being friends then tried to kill me off or enslaved them! They have every right to be worried.

not the best place to meet them, putting them in a very vulnerable position on that narrow log bridge

Pet the white man and then throw him in the river. He brings free things to fool you and change your life for the worse.

@Ultimate007Trini dogs exist for 15.000 years :) Humans domesticated them 15.000 years ago, they are originally wolves.

It;s not fake. The video is labeled wrong.
The tribe was discovered in 1993.

it's so amazing looking at their reactions of the hair. if aliens were to meet with us, it'd probably be the same haha

i would've went there with flashing led lights and smoke effects jk
aygachu 5 months ago
This video is a fake. And anyone looking at the film quality who thinks this is 1976 is retarded. Jean Pierre Dutilleux is a fraud and is not in any way a proper scientist.
It sickens me that something that would be fantastically interesting is trivialized and dumbed-down for the sake of turning a buck
Wamz1978 5 months ago
OMG papua new guineans from freakin 1976 recorded on camera!!!! this is so unreal man. wow!!!! a year after independence.
alias010 5 months ago
this is disputed as fake by several anthropologists. The tribe is about a 2 days walk from an administrative district with airport, traffic, etc. There are reports of tribes agreeing to act in these films for compensation.
This might have been true in 1950, but not by 1976.

Rusty350 7 months ago
@Rusty350 Too bad its not set-up then :S There was a similar "accident" not that many years ago when a chopper flew over an island with natives on it that had never seen anything like it and started throwing spears at it cause they thought it was some "monster" or creature
pepparmostheelder 7 months ago
The sad thing is...if me would meet aliens, the military surely would kill them and do scientific research with their bodies.
Cetchupboys 8 months ago 14
@Cetchupboys If they were more advanced than us they would kill us.
crazybrity 8 months ago
@Cetchupboys Im sure our first intention would be to try and make contact and make a peace offering with them. The last thing we want is to start a war with a species with more advanced technology. If a war does start we would then experiment on them and find their weaknesses to win.
bootysweat44 7 months ago 2
@bootysweat44 It would be the first intention of ppl like YOU and ME to make contact with them...but what do we have to say in this world?
