@dhermosillo09 This has a stock single cat. The stock muffler was removed and replaced with a single in, dual out Super40. Ran dual pipes out the back. Don't know how a single in, single out would sound.
ok, coming from someone who knows nothing about exhaust, in lamens terms could u please tell me where i need to go, who i got to ask and what i got to ask for to make my 05 5.7l hemi to sound JUST like that? message me if u would rather. preciate it
@LedZeppelinx88 This has a stock single cat. The stock single pipe runs back to the muffler. The only thing I changed was the stock muffler was removed and replaced with a single in, dual out Super40. Then ran dual pipes from the super40 out the back. I got it done at Mel & Sons in Concord CA for about $450.
How can i get my doge hemi 03 to sound just like this? love the low growl it has when you start her up. and the roar it has makes me want to go get a speeding ticket

i have an 03 dodge ram 2500 5.7l hemi and i am getting a flowmaster 40 series muffler too. just a question though, do you have anything under your hood? superchip or an air intake?
@tiebar90 Just a K&N air filter. This has a stock single cat. The stock single pipe runs back to the muffler. The only thing I changed was the stock muffler was removed and replaced with a single in, dual out Super40. Then ran dual pipes from the super40 out the back. I got it done at Mel & Sons in Concord CA for about $450.
It's a Super 40 with single 3" going in and two 2.5" out. The tips are rolled stainless steel 3.5". It makes it fun to drive. You don't really need to get on it to appreciate the sound. Nice growl.
what do you think of the flowMaster 50 muffler series with the FlowMaster force 2 exhaust system duals .back side sides exit. stainless steel rolled edge tips 4" cowboy exit maybe?
Sounds good. I ran a Flowmaster 50 series on my 5.7 L Camaro and on a 5.9L Dodge truck. It sounded good on both. The Super 40 is deeper and louder. I like that better. You can't go wrong with the stainless steel rolled edge tips 4". That will look nice.
I had estimates as high as $550. Mel & Sons in Concord CA did it for $475. It was stock single exhaust. They installed a "One In - Two out" Super 40 with new tailpipes and stainless steel tips. They do nice work. Sounds sweet and fun to drive!
Nice HEMI, I have the same 40 series flowmaster on 07 Hemi. Do do like the way it sound when you take off at a normal driving speed? I feel mind sounds a little weird. It makes me think that the muffler might be a little to small. U should post a few videos of your take off>
Anyone know if it sounds good with single 40?
