yes. I have veil as well and a laser sheild plate. and well It's worked on the mass Pike and lowell connector not like you know where this is but its worked about 5 times..I just had the jammers ripped off my bumper and sent them to escort to get repaired and they did for free! can't beat that. I'm planning to go to FL/NC soon so ill see what happens then.

That's awesome! Free is always good! If you go to NC/FL, you'll have to go through GA. NC's roads are really windy, so they primarily use radar, but that's no prob because your V1's got it!...In GA, which'swhere I am, the roads/highways are straight, so the GSP uses a lot of laser, but more radar than anything. Finally in FL, the FHP also uses laser, but like GA, primarily uses radar. I took a trip to Panama City beach from Atlanta, and there were no laser traps, but over 20 radar traps! GO V1!!

great video!...why did you mount your v1 low on the windshield? any specific reason? I know on V1's website, it says to mount high, but I'm not sure of where to mount. Right now mine is mounted high, and whenever I get radar alerts, the arows point all over the place instead of where the source is...

Thanks, i have it hardwired and I don't like cords everywhere. It's good where it is. plus i have the jammer so i'm not worried at all. Also I got pulled over the other day and the cop asks me what the light on my plate was, i told him it was an NYezpass and hes like what no its not, and hes looking w.flashlight and goes I see lights i'm like well thats what it is officer, I didn't want to be a prick, and tell him its a laser jammer, instead i got a ticket 4 exhaust tint license plate cover

I got pulled over too!...the cop did the same thing with the flashlight, except he saw my V1, nd noted on my ticket that I had a radar detector...LAME...He got me using instant-on radar...I slammed on the breaks, but it was too late...

a cop instant triggered me with KA and i slammed my brake from 95 to 75 in few seconds

but he pulled me over cause it was 1AM AND I WAS IN TX so the speed limit was 65 and gave me a warning.... phew

Why didnt you just buy a ZR3? The ZR4 has not been tested by a *True Independent Group*. The only testing videos is from Radar Roy who sells the Escort products and he refuses to shoot thru the HUD and he called it the *Best Laser Jammer*. You should have saved some money because your getting the same jammer but re-badged as the ZR4.

Hope zr4 works better than my zr3.70 in 55 ouch.laser ultra light from behind.About 300 ft.he was hiding real good.didnt know he was their until zr3 went off.

Rear laser coverage on the ZR3 is brutal. The license plate is the primary weakness but the two tail light reflectors are bad as well. 300ft is also a little close. I got jams from my ZR3 from about 200ft out but I had to VEIL my rear plate cover to get them. Oh, and this was on a PL3 not an Ultralyte.

very nice! AND paired with a V1!! very nice! V1 is my Radar/Laser detector of choice. And I was hoping to get the ZR4 really soon, as LEO's have stepped up Laser patrols in my area, so...

Oh, and if you want an Laser-like device--like your remote--go with the TV B-gone. that thing sets off my V1 in an instant!

Same problem here. Apparently not all remotes use the same pulse rate so you have to try it out with several different brands. I finally got a JVC to work.

I agree with erickonphoenix, some, if not most, tv remotes won't set off ANY laser detectors/shifters because it's not the right IR pattern. Like I said, the TV B' Gone works wonders, but if you can't get that, most universal remotes work on it. But the lineup of the remotes actually setting off a detector/shifter is pretty small.
