  • i'm only watching this for my homework -.-

  • It is a combination of both! Our eniroment obviously has influence on us. We are not born wanting Nikes, Gucci bags, or getting turned on by 6 inch heels. Cave women didn't have stripper heels right lol?

At the same time, if our genes can make our nose, eyes, and so many other physical features replicas of our parents...why would we not think our nervous and emotional response systems would not be replicated to some degree as well.

  • Scientists deal in absolutes. . . only the Sith deal in absolutes. Therefore, scientists are the Sith :)

  • @KawaiiMooMoo LOL makes perfect dam sense to me lol! Great commment!

  • stupid scientists, its obviously both

  • I think it may be a mix of both. I mean, I'm a girl and I like Transformers, but I like many girly things.

  • nature vs nurture?!? I believe its both, and not just one in particular. I mean just think about it...is it not more logical that both nature and nurture have a roll in the development of a person?

  • @VideoAddict2010

That's instinctive, you 'tard! I get really ticked off when I hear pseudo-science!

    Intelligence comes from education!

  • two words: feral children

  • being gay is gross i feel sorry for gay people!! what a life to live...must be hard!

  • @pinkysux Yeah, it is hard, because of people like you who think it's so gross without knowing anything about it.

  • I don't think I would've been any different without being raised by my parents. Personality is also often halfly caused by genetics, so no. I wouldn't be much different.

  • NATURE vs NURTURE is BOGUS!!!

It's your education and the way you were raised and the living conditions during your developing years that determines your intelligence and behaviour not your genes!

  • @rebelq1

then how do u explain genieses like albert Eistein and Hawking ect.

They were born inteligent. A mom reading to a child or playing mozart while its in the womb wont make up 50 iq points.

  • @retardedmokey

The way they were raised, their living conditions, the health of their mothers during pregnancy and their education.

Did you pay attention to my comment?

    Nobody is born intellignet!

  • BTW

Just because Einstein and Hawking discovered what they did first doesn't automatically mean that they are "geneitcally intelligent".

If they were then probably nobody else would understand what they discovered.

  • @rebelq1 no that's part of it. you also have to consider sexual preference and issues like autism/down syndrome. so it's a mix of both. in and out. make sense?

  • @rebelq1 well.. some scientists have seen correlations between genes and behaviour.. I'd say its both nature and nurture :)

  • @S37151

    Those scientists are phony scientists!

  • @rebelq1

They are just as phony as every other scientists.. I dont mean to be rude, but you should definitly read books about biological psychology before you decide what to believe:) search for "Jim Twins" on youtube:) Have a nice day:)

  • @S37151

Loser, I don't read books in today's age of technology! Saying that intelligence is genetic is just like saying that you're born intelligent which is nonsense!

  • @rebelq1

i did not say intelligens is genetic. my only point was that nurture is not the only thing causing personality. are parents or peers creating intelligens? intelligens is caused by both genes and environment. no one has ever proved othervise. you dont have to read books, it was only a suggestion. Because it seems to me that you are uneducated. To believe and to know for sure are two very different things.

  • @retarded monkey

Genetic only between species like humans and gorillas not between humans and other humans!

  • @rebelq1

so what you are trying to say is that there does not exist genetic differences among humans, only between species? how would you explain differences in height, eye colour and skin colour? if intelligens was caused only by environment, how could siblings score different from each other on IQ-tests, even though they have the same friends, same family, same school and so on..?

  • @S37151

Those are physical characteristics you, stinking twat! Siblings can score different because of their health and the way they were raised by their parents or they way some sibling has treated another! There are other things that contribute to that which I don't want to go into detail now!

  • @rebelq1

you make me laugh! i used physical characteristics because you need simple examples. scientists have studied monozygote twins that reared apart, and they see that they are just as similar in personality as MZ twins that grew up together. I would like to know what facts you use to state your statement, for ur information i study psychology (includes developement, cognitive, biological, personality and social psychology).it was nice talking to you, im gonna leave you here in ignorance:)

  • @S37151

Again' DNA does influence intelligence between humans! Now kindly, go away!

  • @rebelq1 Not to mention the use of Brain performance enhancing drugs like nootropics.

I know plenty of gifted students who are on that privately.

  • @rebelq1 that's the nurture side of the debate, duhhh...

  • @rebelq1

    Go on...

  • @rebelq1 Your face is bogus...

  • @TuckLikesFire

    Say it in a mirror!

  • @rebelq1 nah, don't think that would work out too well.

  • Jesus, that's a short video on nature vs nurture. Do we really know that little about it?

  • why did they show the African American girl at the end looking like a retard, smh

  • @krazyntwisted

I actually thought it was cute.

  • this is bullshit!!

parents play major rolls on how kids will develop ... i am very certain that i would have been completely different if my relationships w my parents had been different

  • I am gay and sometimes I hate gay people. Because like sometimes I am sad and like they be running around happy and stuff..

  • The nature vs nurture argument is over and genes won. Class dismissed.

  • Who cares if it's nature or nurture. Do what feels good & right to you as long as you don't hurt anybody.

  • Where would I be able to download this clip at?

  • @sockseatme

    just get real player

  • how novel!

  • Why would you tie your child up or beat him/her? The child will then react or do it out of spite and anger. It best to do what you think is right, without causing violence in your own house hold. If the child sees that you are an understanding person, more likely they will come to you with a problem. When your child comes to you with a problem and you help them with that problem there is a sense of trust. From this point develop a relationship and understand.

  • @sexybomb09 kids dont work like that, they will take a mile when you give them an inch be the alpha male (or woman) take charge and put them in their place.

  • It really is up to the kid...I mean, you can tell your child to be good and behave but at the end of the day, it's going to do what it wants.

  • not not if you beat the child, or tie it up.

  • Yes but what makes him choose one or the other? What makes him decide to act one way or the other?

  • oh shut up lol bein gay is not a disease gosh u make me sick

THERES NOTHIN WRONG WITH BEING GAY

  • yeah, except you can't reproduce! if everyone was gay, we'd go extinct.

  • everyone is ghey, we are just in denial, also there is artificial insemination... ...

  • @suicidesponger lol gay people can't reproduce? thats a new one.

  • nope, gay couples can't reproduce. and how many gay couples are okay with their partner going and having heterosexual relationships with other heterosexual people for the purpose of reproducing?? not very many, i'm thinking...

  • @suicidesponger LOL! OR you don't have to have a relationship with someone in order for them to bear your child

  • @megakirby9 I may get murdered for this, but this comment reminds me so much of Inuyasha...

Anyway, I agree. If I decide to actually have babies, I wouldn't even need a man. Can we say 'Sperm Bank'?

  • @nekoinu Lol exactly! And you can even pick out a nice hot guy so your kids look fiiine when they're older!

  • @megakirby9 Yes!!! I'll have the most wonderful children running around! Beautiful, and I plan to raise them with acceptance and tolerance of all walks of life... (It may be difficult for me to tell them to accept people like Carrie fucking Prejean, but I'll try my hardest!)

(I'm in a very 'I hate Carrie Prejean' mood right now... Just found out she's getting married tomorrow when all these LGBT Americans don't have that right...)

  • @suicidesponger well lesbians can get a sperm donor and reproduce that way instead of having sex with a guy

  • @xoxoKMAxoxo and gay men can always use a surrogate... There are quite a lot of ways for gay couples to have their own children nowadays.

  • @nekoinu EXACTLY! people need to be more open minded. and the world is over-populated anyway so maybe we need more gay people lol

  • @xoxoKMAxoxo Yes! I plan on adopting when I marry my future wife... If she wants to have babies, though, I'd be perfectly fine with that, but I think that we should take care of our over-populated orphanages first... Plus, if I marry the girl I want to marry, adoption would be our only option anyway since neither of us is really willing to carry a baby for 9 months and give birth...

  • @nekoinu i plan to adopt too becuz for one i'm scared to death of getting pregnant becuz anything could go wrong and i might mess up on the child's early stages in life and that could mess up the child's whole future. plus, there are so many kids who need families

  • @hotchickxoxoxo -Gays carry disease..and thats a fact

  • @hanerp1 EVERYONE carries diseases... also a fact
