Robert was a long time neighbor of my Mom back in Medford Lakes New Jersey, the song was inspired by his then 3 year old daughter and her growing up to fast.

Robert said himself in an interview that the song was not right for him to release so he was saving it for the right singer. I believe the interview is still here on YT.

Seen these guys alot in Philly in the early-mid 80's. Great band got a chance to meet Robert and the Heroes a few times real good people. Enjoyed this blast form the past... saw him do it acoustic in Cape May in March 08 as part of the Singer Songwriter Cape May musical Keynote performance. While it was video'd I've not seen that some released here as of yet.
