I can remember I was in the 7th grade and a friend of a friend threw this tape in, I loved it and listened to it over and over again, blizzard, I went to the store and there was his picture on circus magazine, talking about his death, to this day I cant get over it, developed my own style, like he told me, and I have played many bars and partys thanks to Randy, The master of melody!,

I tried to learn everything I could from randy's playing in the first half of this year but I soon realised that he is so special, there is that extra element that steps him apart from the others, it feels unnatural trying to emulate something that was to another personal so simple and natural. Randy was the best guitarist of the 80's and is one of the best of all time.

We are all robbed of the greatest guitar player ever because of a tired, coke snorting bus driver decided to take an airplane without permission and some how talked Randy ( a man who was scared of airplanes) to take a joy ride with him. I have always wondered if Randy told the guy after the second low pass that he didnt want him to do that anymore. I wonder if they were scared and were telling him to stop flying so low. I wish I could go back and have stopped it. I wish you were here Randy..RIP
