  • I posted something on my Facebook about teaching my children that Santa was fake and I was completely dashed to pieces by "Christians" saying that I was ruining the spirits of the kids that may see that post. These people called themselves Christian, yet tore me to shreds defending their Santa. They acted as though I was committing a wrong by potentially letting a child see the truth about a lie that their parents had taught them. And people wonder what's wrong with the church today..........

  • santa was invented by Coca Cola for commercial reasons and of course to make money, so was holloween and other rituals.

  • this video is so true.

  • Santa is a tradition in some families- part of the Christmas celebrations. The idea that being Christian means snarking about a mythical guy who gives gifts is pointless and does nothing to futher the cause of Christ. Christmas is to celebrate the birth of a guy who showed up at a party, found out they were out of wine and did his first recorded miracle by creating more booze. Not the dude to get bent out of shape over jolly fat guys in red suits pretending to have reindeer pulling a sled..

  • @Lefrohe Christmas is when we celebrate God Himself coming down from Heaven to rescue us because we were Hell bound on an express train. We couldn't reach Him so He came down to us."...according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit. He poured out this Spirit on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life." Titus 3: 5b-7 ~ Merry Christmas.

  • @ElJibaroBravo No disagreement. Problem is the people who insist that the celebration has to fit their version of propriety or it's not 'Christian' enough. I have seen folks that celebrate with the 'Santa' story and gifts who have more love and joy in their Christmas than some self proclaimed Christians demonstrate over an entire year. Yes Christ came down to us and provided salvation for us. Doesn't mean the celebration can't include some frivolity.

  • @tibchy144 rubbish!

  • Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

  • @lordboojum No, they don't actually.

  • @ByHisWounds That's a quote by Carl Sagan and it's true. The reason so many atheists don't believe in any god is because of an intense lack of falsifiable evidence. Check out Sagan's "Invisible Green Dragon" argument.

  • @ByHisWounds well ya of coarse, if it didn't, we would all just believe in santa claus.

  • bad news bears!

  • Amen. Jesus is Lord! we need to tell everyone!

    God bless you all

  • @Z1Z12 Actually, many Hindus are trusting Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior along with many atheists, Muslims and Buddhists!

  • That is ridiculous. God ALWAYS creates thing FULLY mature with an apparent history of a past they never had. When Jesus fed the 5000, he fed them with Bread that never saw an oven, never kneaded from dough, the fish never spawned in the water, they were created fully functional with an apparent history they never had. Your folly is you do not believe in miracles or don't understand history. Adam and eve had belly buttons, they were the first humans.

  • wow smart saying.I wish I could learn to speak like you.I'm sure that fools wont understand what the wise has to say.Blessings

  • there is a movie out now

    about Christians using

    so much $ on Christmas

    day.... its so sad....

why do u celebrate Christmas with

    gifts....

well gifts too but also it should be with a different way....

  • lenin, trotsky and stalin were jews. i believe a few jews perished under their regimes...

  • WOOO!! PREACH IT PIPER!!

I can't believe how many people are blinded from the true meaning of christmas behind the rituals we pursue in. We must remind people the TRUE meaning of christmas. The good news. Jesus =] Amen!

  • Another compelling case for Santa Claus' dismissal. Thank you, John.

  • TELL IT PIPER!

  • Finally...someone that speaks out against the illusion of christmas!!! way to go dude!!!

  • pipe down.

  • I think anyone who proclaims anything like what you said should have to prove their hypothesis.

  • Really? Do I have to prove that leprechauns and fairies don't exist for you not to believe in them? How about (above the visible spectrum) radiation and electricity, which are also invisible? Oh wait . . . we have reliable testable evidence to show that they exist. So that is the standard for measuring reality. Do you have or know of any reliably testable evidence to demonstrate the existence of god or Santa Claus?

  • Every effect must have a cause. For example, we know the earth spins. Why does it spin? Well, something must have made it spin. What caused that a occurrence? Something else. You eventually get to a point where there is a first cause, or as Plato and later Thomas Aquinas called it, an "immovable mover." What could that possibly have been? A being perhaps. God perhaps? You can't rule out the God factor without infinite reason against it.

  • Merry Merry CHRISTmas to YOU JP!

  • finally some meaning thoughts about christmax

    Praise the Lord

  • Amen!

  • Preach it JP
