Yeah, I know whatcha mean. This might make an interesting alternative to "Power Wheels" for 4 year olds, but so far as being a legitimate vehicle... umm, no.
@EuphoricDan yes... as the commenter below me has already said.. this is an insult to (not only petrol heads) but vehicles in general..
i could see my little brother getting him and his friends to elementary school or middle school in this... but id much rather prefer the non-physically exhausting method of transportation (and one by which is extremely customizable [ie : i like my cars fast!] )
To power a vehicle in the way we have all become accustomed takes horsepower... lots of it. Though what they have done is a cute engineering exercise it's little more then that as far as being relevant to actual transportation engineering. My motorcycle has over 100 hp. At some point we just have to focus on getting the most energy we can out of ANY fuel source and trying to focus on getting our power from only the most efficient or renewable ones. This isn't much help.
I see nothing particularly unique about this car. There are better, more advanced, and more practical designs already out there using electric power, human power, solar power, alternative fuels, and various combinations thereof. This car appeals primarily to the emotions.
Obviously a lot of haters out there but just imagine if people took this seriously and expanded on this idea like if you took a Honda Accord and equipped it with a pedal that you could pump and the energy of the pump would run the car like 10 pumps= 1 gallon of gas that would be pretty damn amazing
@TikiBobby16 do you honestly believe were running out of oil well were not ive got inside info my dad builds machines that make drilling pipe the gulf alone can supply us for over 100 years by adding 500 more oil rigs
all these idiots here don't get anything. They don't want to save the environment, and possibly save the human race.no, they want a future with their flying car crap that looks expensive, and probably takes more gas than my house.
@mherr0 well im guessing you commented this without thinkin very much, but we are trying to find ways to save things like oil and natural resources to be able to live well in the future. Flying cars im guessing wouldnt run on batteries so their probably the opposite of what we want
@w00tkid He's right... this didn't explain anything about the car. FAIL
Inform us next time. How does it work? How does it store energy? How much weight can it carry and how does weight effect speed? (How about a graph?) Can it reverse? Does it have functioning break, turning, and head lights? What is the maximum speed? How much does it cost? Where and when will it be available?
NONE of these questions were explained... nothing was explained. Try again, this time without so much fail please?
can you see someone trying to do a drive by in this?
