  • in my view there is no religion true ! But God exist 150 % !!!!

  • How do you come to that conclusion?

  • so god exists 1.5 times out of 1? weird. >.>

  • he's that awesome apparently....

  • Right, it's Christianity or Atheism. All of the other religions are false. (irony?)

  • It is the view of two friends debating on youtube, a Christian against an Atheist. It is a religion (or faith) against a belief of no god(s). So no it is not that all other 'religions' are false as Atheism is not a religion. Was that your point irony?

  • i would love to hear the atheist view on macroevolution, i have heard ricky's view quite alot and i would like to hear someone else's view. also the doppler effect and its role on dating the universe

  • sure, we'll add that to the already growing list. :) thanks, make sure to subscribe and tune in.

  • What would you mean by atheistic view on macro evolution? Atheism has nothing to say about anything, except god. It is a lack in a belief of god. Atheism has nothing to say about Evolution, yet atheists traditionally support Evolution, because their minds are not clouded by ridiculous superstition from thousands of years ago. You want my view on macro evolution? What about it? It works...

  • i was talking about the atheist on this debate and his views on macro evolution.

  • There is no actual scientific term called "micro" or "macro" evolution. I just wanted to mention that.

  • 01:37 was my favorite part

  • well aren t you sick in the head lol

  • It was also mine. (Ricky)

Christ's death on the Cross is the pinnacle of all of History. The Cross represents salvation for all of mankind, without Christ's perfect sacrifice all of mankind would be doomed to an eternity in Hell. On the Cross, Christ absorbed the wrath of the Eternal God so that all who believe in Him would not face damnation, but rather salvation and everlasting life.

  • christ death is the pinnacle of christian history. Unfortunately, other non christian nations dont share our views.

Muslims claims that the life of Mohammad is the pinnacle of all history, ect.

Now, i want to find more references on first century palestine that wrote something about Jesus, before, during, and shortly after he was crucified.

Josephas reference to Jesus is at least a century after Jesus death. So technically it doesnt count.

  • Well you see you nearly answer your own point, Christ's death is the pinnacle of CHRISTIAN history, hence no other religious doctrines picking it up. You also make it sound as though religion is national, clearly isn't.

Josephas, did he refer to Christos? That doesn't mean Jesus Christ, just a saviour. And you will be pushed to find any verifiable references to Jesus Christ.

    (Atheist)

  • I saw in a video here that in youtube, strangely enough, the first century palestinian record did show a man who walked on water, died and was resurrected is not named jesus at all its Apolonius. I verified it myself and I cant help but to say "who the fuck is apolonius?". There is no jesus christ at first century palestinian records.

Maybe the modern versions of these people could be like David Copperfield, Cris Angel, David Blane. Simply tricksters and magicians.

  • Oh btw, do you know the name of the music that's playing in this video? Can't place the name and it's driving me mad =P

  • The Storm Begins by Jennifer Haines

Website is in the description to the side

  • heh thanks

  • Fossil.

    Atheists win!

  • If it were only that simple, carbon dating has been proven to be highly inaccurate (in some circumstances) and the number of 'scientists' that have lied simply to make their research 'prove' evolution or creationism really does not help either cause.

Subscribe and keep commenting, we'd love to have your input on our videos

  • That's a common argument made which is incorrect. Carbon dating is not the only method used and hasn't been for quite some time. Radiometric dating uses a number of different techniques including uranium-lead radiometric dating, potassium-argon dating and rubidium-strontium dating.

Btw do you have any information on the scientists that have lied in specific aid of supporting evolution?

  • You may try watching The Great Dinosaur Deception Exposed here on youtube (I have not, but it may give some idea as to fossil record fudging). And there is always the great example of 'Lucy'

Specific names I do not know, as I have not looked into it, as I support evolution (David the Atheist) but I'm sure a quick google search would help you.

  • Please go read a science book. I'd love for you to know what the hell you're talking about.

  • Excuse me? Could you elaborate for me?

  • The last way you're going to convince me to watch your channel is by suggesting grounds for debate on evolution and creationism. If you want my attention, debate things that are worth debating.

  • In my view there is no debate, evolution and the big bang both happened! Fact!

And we will be debating scientific, moral and spiritual matters. What would you have us debate?

  • Sounds like an interesting idea. Any ideas yet on the topics you'll be discussing?

  • We'll be discussing everything from topics in the Bible to Science to contemporary moral and ethical issues.

Both of us are good friends and this is the product of many hours of discussing and debating. We thought we'd share our discussions with a wider audience to provoke serious thought about the origin of life.

  • Sounds fair enough =) if you're interested I have a suggestion for a topic?

  • Suggest away, we have a few ideas but we would like to encourage people to suggest their own ideas, and if they would like a lengthy debate, to send a private message or video response.

Thank you, hopefully we shall hear more from you in the near future

  • it's quite a simple topic really, providing that you both feel you have a decent grasp of evolution.

The question would be, is there a conflict between believing in both evolution and the Christian god.

Evolution is an undetermined process, in terms of the fact that human life was not an innevitable outcome.

The conflict is accepting the above and yet also believing in a god whose characteristics are having the intention of creating human life.

Would be glad to hear both your ideas

  • Thank you, sounds interesting.

I believe it would depend on your interpretation of the bible, as literal or parables.

Look out for it appearing soon in one of our videos.

  • Hmmm, perhaps the title: Atheist Vs Theist would have been more appropriate?

I doubt Muslims would be very happy about deciding which of your two choices was the "correct" one lol.

  • I understand where you are coming from, agreed we are a theist and an atheist, however, at no point will we be debating whether Muhammed can be judged by todays morals as a child molester, unless these topics are brought to our attention by our viewers.

I am an Atheist, and Ricky a Christian, we are both familiar with Christianity, less so with Jeudaism and Islam, but we do have some knowledge.

If it is brought up as a topic we will happily debate it from our own perspectives

    Hope that helped
