That is not mongolian beef. That's vegetable beef. Of course every chef has their own ingredient but that is not Mongolian Beef.

Where can I get this type of Beef, will I have to go to Mongolia. I got a Monglian girl friend just to make this dish but now I am thinking that I may have to go to Mongolia to get the beef! Please can some one sort this out for me.

@vnck25 There is something in asian markets named Mock meat. Which is some seithan/soy based meat on cans.

Thats why asked if the beef should come from Mongolia.
