  • @darrowby1972 Agreed, it don't half send shivers down the spine! XD Cheers for commenting!

  • It doesnt matter how much tractive effort or horsepower modern low emission diesel traction has, they will NEVER ever sound like these large capacity EE's.

  • Indeed. Thanks chum!

  • @dieselmanmike to right buddy !!!!!!!

  • watching that actually makes me feel bad in a way because it makes me think just how incredibly dull modern traction is compared to the old stuff

  • by modern traction l mean the pendolinos and voyagers and other plastic crud

  • Quite agreed. Seeing all those 87's going to waste at Long Marston a few days ago makes me wish they were back in service...

    Anyway, thanks for your comments!

  • nice bit of clag... mmmmmmm clag !!!!

  • I thought that i wouldn't see the day. A br blue class 40 hauling virgin and the blue pullman coaches

  • Riviera's Blue Pullman indeed, if you ignore the Virgin coloured Mk2's...

    Cheers for commenting!

  • No problem.

  • Fantastic departure, doing what she typically does best!

*Big up Seton Spencer in the back cab!*

  • Cheers!

  • Great video. Interesting livery on that 6th coach!

  • Yeah, the colours are almost appropriate than it's Virgin counterparts! Thanks.

  • Sing my beauty

  • You sure said it! Cheers!

  • Hellfire stuff, brilliant video! 5*

  • Cheers scotrains!

  • nice sound, usual hash of rolling stock from the policy of "if its fit to run, shove it out in any formation".

  • Indeed. Cheers 60037.

  • That's what I like about the multiplicity of rolling stock owners now. You get a nice bit of variety. I thoroughly approve of randomness. So much more fun than when everything was InterCity livery. I thought that was rather dreary.

  • But theres nothing more dreary than the substantial amounts of Multiple Units that are working every single non-Charter passenger train out of the North West.

  • thats a 5 there hf is the word.

  • There is indeed DelticMattV2000! Cheers mate.

  • Hellfire! Great Video Keep up the good work!

  • Cheers mylordz!

  • Great sound, well taken.

  • Brilliant video.

  • Thank you kindly 21C123!

  • I see you got a lot of traction that day, it seems you got the right spot!

  • Despite the platform being crowded with 40 bashers, I was fortunate indeed to get a good position to film the departure. It was either that or photograph it; that decision can be tricky to make! Cheers Woolybak8!

  • Quality thrash!!!

  • Darn right! Cheers 2GUNBOY!

  • I miss going on the forties to Blackpool and other exotic northwest locations like Barrow, glad there are still some alive.

  • I'm too young to remember those days (I feel so cheated as well), but I'm glad this stirred up some happy memories for you. As seen here, 40145 was looking and sounding top notch, as can always be expected. Cheers woodlandsteve!
