@VeaVictisPisek What's amazing about Hana Ulrychova is that still today her voice hasn't degraded any I can tell. She is today the best Czech singer from the 60's with a possible exception of Marie Rottrová...
I sort of like Atlantis's version of "Strange Brew" better than Cream's. I like the other song even better. Wish I could find their recordings on cd. It'd be nice if somebody here in the U.S would release a compilation or anthology of all the fab and little-known outside of Europe, all the great Czech & other Eastern European bands/artists of the 60's. I live in the U.S. & have Czech ancestry in my family tree. This is some fab stuff. It's good to hear something different. Really enjoyed it!
Agree, bands as Matadors, Blue Effect, Rebels, Soulmen / Beatmen or Atlantis are little known and it´s a pity. Even in Czech republic among young generation. It´s good to know that Czech culture wasn´t behind the west, even despite the communist regime.
You are right. For example, everyone knows "The Magic Key" by One-T but very few people know that that song is actually based on Blue Effect's "Ma hra". I've also read opinions from people outside Czech Republic who said that Radim Hladik was one of the best guitarists they had ever heard. Too bad so few people around the world know him.
we can find this song on cd Hana Ulrychová, it is her best of...

@AltariellM Well you know Frank Zappa listed the CZ or CZSV at the top of his most dear places. He could sense something more when visiting..
