the difference between hip-hop and everything else; this is timeless! even 3 years down the road, ima still be feelin this n bobbin my head every time the joint comes on! (=
@Evileater da lench mob originally did it, icp sampled it, then mister voodoo.. so technically hatchetdestroyer isn't wrong. (and in icp's song southwest voodoo.. it repeats the sample over and over just like in this song which would make it seem more like it was taken from icp than da lench mob)
@WalkedTheFloorXx da lench mob used a sample, X clan originaly did it check out tribal jams samples are from seconds 3:53, so in essense this guy took it from neither, though theres nothing wrong with sampling, juust some info on the roots for the future ;)
1) Westcoast Voodoo- Westside Connection ft. the Game
2) Southwest Voodoo- Insane Clown Posse
3) Runnin from my magic- Mr. Voodoo (obviously)
4) Guerillas in tha Mist- Da Lench Mob
5) Voodoo- X Clan
and probably about 5 million other songs I don't know.
I know the sample is from Brother J IN the X clan, but I can't hear the sample clear enough so I think they re-used it. What is the original song it's from?
Voodoo's style is so unique for its time! I have a feeling he used a rhyming dictionary on this one, nonetheless this flow is venomous! Blows these lil wayne bitches outta da water!
can anyone tell me the name of the song im thinking of?
It has the "Voodo, running from my magic" in the chorus and then it says something like" I tell em hocus pocus"...i heard the song the other day and it was bad ass but i dont know the name.
I know what you're talk'n about i got that song on an old mixtape, the cat that rhymes on it is fast and at the end he say's Funky Hocus Pocus. Then the beats switch up with some reggae, I WANTTA KNOW WHO THAT IS TOO!
can you please tell me where to find this track i have his whole album ill send you some songs if you show me where to get this one never heard it, i got the lyrical tactics album if anyone wants it message me

"voodoo running from my magic" sample can also be heard in the Insane Clown Posse song "Southwest Song" or "Southwest voodoo"
this guy's pretty good though, good choice in beat and the mixed in sample sounds real fucking good.
