  • Huh, weird, I thought I posted and it said awaiting approval on post....

Anyway, here's my question. When I'm on the second part of the trick, when I do the underpass and drop the loop on my thumb, the yoyo has a tendency to bind or slow down significantly. Any advice on this? I'm thinking that I may be doing the process too slowly (and pulling my hands apart too slowly) so based on the direction of the spin, the yoyo will start to grab the string and either slow down or bind. Thanks!

  • @swilly78 You know what man, I'm really not sure. I think it's mostly just a matter of making your best effort to be smooth with your movements. Smooth and deliberate. Can't be sloppy with this one. It helps to have a very unresponsive yoyo when you're learning. Also, you do have it right, you have to be fairly quick with pulling your hands apart. All things considered, the trick just takes a lot of practice... good luck man.

  • whats the difference between this stryker and the black star edition

  • help! the space between my thumb and pointer is too short :( and my protostar can not go through it ! help

  • @LLCoolZack I would highly recommend practicing up on some easier chopsticks moves so that you get comfortable with it. Hashbrowns, for example. The more easily you can navigate chopsticks tricks, the better chance you'll have of successfully performing this trick. All with practice, of course. Good luck man!

  • bounce and bounce... cool trick man xD

  • @LLCoolZack haha thank you!

  • @LLCoolZack btw, you can start this trick with plastic whip sideway too xD

  • hey what yoyo are you using?

  • @TheYoYoGirl2 SPYY Stryker. Great great yoyo.

  • @rethinkyoyo sweeet!! is it expensive?

  • @TheYoYoGirl2 It's around (or less than) the price of any luxury YYF's. $95 from the SPYY strore. Not too bad. :)

  • @rethinkyoyo just picked one up today, I have been looking for a better throw for some time. I keep buying cheaper yo's trying to "save" money. so I have a bunch of yoyos I don't use, because they don't throw as well as something like a Stryker

  • @deafomega Yeah man, just stick with SPYY's, they don't disappoint, haha.

  • slick maaaan......now to find a way to get rind of my dingo so i can get a proper-sized playing yoyo. XD

  • @sAmZy1993 Well, it would make it easier with a wider yoyo, but hey, if you get good at it with a Dingo, then you'll be flawless with a wider yoyo.

  • ive been waiting for a trick like this , thx

  • @nathan7grind Sure thing man, glad you got what you were waiting for. :)

  • oh my god u have to tell be where u got that shurt!!!!!!!!!

  • @FormerConvict At Worlds this past August, Steve Buffel from SPYY gave it to me sort of as a gift for Rethinkyoyo's partnering with them. I know, it's like the most awesome shirt design ever.

  • Wow!... This needs a lot of Practice!

    I'll go start!

  • @bdaboyzzz Yeah, it really needs a ton... Even after doing a tutorial for the trick, I still slip up quite a bit on this one. It's like my favorite trick sometimes and my arch enemy other times.

    Good luck dude!

  • impressive

  • @xXDanitoBGXx Why, thank you. :)
