I am pretty sure sea scorpians or even orthocones do not deserve to be on there. Predator X, Ginsu and other ancient sharks (besides the Meg you mentioned of course), are more formidable. Even today the Great White is far more impressive. Plus who knows what else is out there. Some now think there might have been Krankens 300 million years ago based off a discovery of icythiosaurus victims.
Idk. We really don't know how large the megalodon is so you really can't speculate. Many scientists can only guess on its size so its impossible to truly tell its real size. I will just leave it at that. Tylosaurus would be my #1 favorite ocean predator. :)
@MrTobyCure i never said the megalodon is the biggest of the 10,or if it was my favorite of the 10(even though it is).i said it was the most deadly of the 10.if you really didn't read the title it says top 10 dangerous, not biggest.
@LaughMaster57 Eh. Idk about that either dude. Tylosaurus or Mosasaurs actually are the deadliest in my opinion due to the fact they made the Ginzu Shark, Plesiosaurs, n even Pliosaurs become extinct due to its ferociousness and tenacity. It only took 5 million years for it to become top predator, which is a really short period of time by prehistoric standards.
@MrTobyCure the Ginzu Shark is about 25 ft in length when fully grown and based on Megs teeth,we can easlly tell that Meg is at least 50 ft opossed to a 40 ft Tylosaur.its common sense dude, you don't get a 10 to 30 ft animal with teeth growing larger then 7 or 8 inches.look if take what im trying to say ofenseve or somthing im not trying to put up a fight but im just sayin
@LaughMaster57 Haha. No its fine. i know you're not trying to be offensive. I'm just saying that science can be the exact opposite from what it can be though. The cookie-cutter shark has teeth that are much bigger than we expect for its body size though too. And Tylosaurus wasn't 40 ft but 49 ft long predator. It was the main reason why Ginzu Shark disappeared. I highly doubt Megalodon could be able to beat a predator like Tylo becuz its ability to evolve so quickly to a better predator.
@LaughMaster57 Actually, Tylosaurus is about 49+ ft long compared to Megalodon. The size you gave out is for the Mosasaurus which isn't the largest Mosasaur even. The largest Mosasaur was the Hainosaurus and it was over 57 ft long. Even with that said, Mosasaurs were much deadlier and dangerous in my opinion.
Megalodon is like T-Rex (which is my fav dino) and is very famous. But I have never seen Megalodon or any aquatic species dying in its time period. So, I don't think its that deadly.
