IMHO, unlike the Chevys and Fords of the era Dodge and Plymouth looked great even stripped down to primer.

Less is better. High impact colors 2:45 - awesome. Simple striping 1:19 - incredible. Shaker hoods 0:42 - sweet.

But the oversized hood-scoop 0:46, to me, is like putting a moustache on the Mona Lisa.

Even the famous 'cuda Billboard side-stripe can be over-kill. Looks great, if done right, though.

I've never owned one, but these Cuda's must be a blast to drive.The hypoed bigblocks are such a nice compliment to the Cuda and Challenger body styles. I drive a truck right now, but if i ever go back to drivin' cars again, I'd lean toward one of these early 70 "beasts".A friend of mine has a '71 cuda with the dual qauded HEMI powerplant and a 5000 RPM stall convertor. He used to race police cars. He still has it. Yours is quite nice!

That car sold on Barrett-Jackson for something like $2 million. It wasn't just a "let's drop a V10 in a Cuda" project. They installed a completely new Viper-ish interior in the car and put customized body kits on the front and rear fascias. They also moved the firewall back a bit so that the engine could be placed with regard to proper weight distribution. That car is a piece of artwork.
