Rooney Mara's acting in that film was like a swampass; you wanted to clean it up afterwards, it's so disgusting and useless. She really did nothing for the film. Same goes for the rest of the cast; except Kyle Gallner. He, like Jared Padalecki in F13 remake, was the only saving grace. Even Jackie couldn't fill the void left by Robert Englund. It's one of the better remakes, but still doesn't hold a candle to the original.

@sodapop380 I won't say it was pretty good. I would say it was okay. As a matter of fact, the two others that went with me shared the same sentiment. The film should've strived to be better than it was, have characters that were likable so when they died, you actually cared. IMO not a single one of them, except Quentin, was at all interesting. And Rooney Mara playing the lead was a poor decision. Her character was empty, devoid of personality and, unfortunately, she had no chemistry whatsoever.
