  • I'm left handed and this will really help with using my right hand for sports and stuff, too. Thanks!:)

  • Thanks so much! It's actually working! You're awesome!

  • Thanks love!! I will do all those things now. How long did it take you to learn?

  • Based on the background, the look on her face, and the money that's not in her pocket, I can conclude that she was kidnapped, molested and forced to sound smart. Ok, jk, really helped. Thanks

  • thanks i have a 3 inch gash on my right hand and i need to use my left for school thank you

  • Such an intelligent young lady. Wonderful video, dear.

  • Are you ambidextrous?

  • <3

  • I brush my teeth with my left hand, and use my left and right equally when using forks/spoons/etc and I'm right handed.

  • She seems so mature... I'm ashamed.

  • next tip: use your other hand when you jerk off...really works great...

  • Thanks Ihm left haned and now i know how too write with my right,..!

  • Good advice, thanks a lot!

  • Thank you! This helps so much since I broke my arm!

  • @xoxXllamasXxox you are 20yo and you collled yourself teenager? :D ha ha, I'm 20yo, but i have married.

  • nothing she said told you how to write with your left hand, dumb scribe wench can't make videos. No one praise her.

  • I'm ambidextrous, but I'm predominantly left handed.

  • You stutter

  • I eat with my left and i chop with my left i shoot the ball with my right leg i throw with my right hand i write with right hand i wash my teeth with my left what the hell AM I !!?!? :O

  • THE most important thing is extended writing for long periods regularly. I had to switch after getting RSI in my right during a semester in my science degree at Uni. It took me a couple months to get to the stage where I could keep up in lectures from a physical movement of the pen point of view, and a good few more before the challenge to the co-ordination centre of my brain stopped tiring my out and requiring intense concentration. A year on I'm now fluent with the left, though rather messy.

  • i already brush my teeth with my right hand!!!!!! it feels weird with my left, even though i am left handed

  • lol!

  • ATTENTION

Do NOT start writing with your opposite hand because it may damage your brain!!!

Ambidextrous people do NOT exist. Most people who think of themselves as ambidextrous are retrained lefties who, for some reason, learned to write with their right hand when they got into school/kindergarten.

  • @Tamoto08 oh god stfu

  • @kikohoff

You see, I'm just trying to help people. I'm a retrained lefty myself so I know what can happen when you write with your opposite hand. (And I also used to think that I was abidextrous. Now I know better ;)

  • @Tamoto08 that is complete and utter bullshit. Damage your brain? Jesus christ you must have been writing with your opposite hand for many years to come up with that one

  • @ErrorUncertainty

Well yes, in fact, I wrote with my opposite hand for 17 years.

It is ok to write some notes with your opposite hand now and then but never, and I mean never, write a long text or essay or whatever with your opposite hand.

If you don't believe me, there are books which focus on the problems that occur when you write with your opposite hand.

There are even councelings for left handed people who learned to write with their right hand.

  • @Tamoto08 Ah now I get you. You have confused two independent phenomena: 1) people who are able-bodied or learning to write with their opposite hand in adulthood, with the intention of using both or being prepared for future injury, and 2) lefties who were due to some old-fashioned thinking taught to write with their right *only* during school. One is a GREATLY beneficial thing for motor co-ordination and the brain, the other is merely learning with the wrong hand.

  • @ErrorUncertainty

No, it is both harmful. Also, there are not only old left handed people who were forced to use their right hand. Nowdays, there are left handed children who imitate their right handed friends and start writing with their right hand voluntarily. (That was my case, I'm only 18) Even if it is done voluntarily, it is harmful for your brain to write with the opposite hand. There are NO benefits from writing with the opposite hand like some people say.

  • @ErrorUncertainty

If you really feel the urge to write with your opposite hand (with your left hand if you are right handed), this could mean that you are a retrained lefty, even if you were never forced to use your right hand. But this is just me conjecturing ;)

Sorry if I sound rude. I just want to make sure people don't retrain themselves because it can result into major problems. (like lack of concentration, depression etc.)

  • @Tamoto08 I'm sure you mean well, but you're wrong. Or if you're not show me the scientific study that I'm missing that proves your point. If however you're referring to the paper published in Pediatrics in Aug. 2010 that was in the papers, once again you've confused two phenomena and fallen victim to the exaggerations of public disclosure of scientific work. There is a tenuous, barely proven link between increased possibility of children who are *BORN* ambidextrous to develop ADHD.

  • @Tamoto08 (...) this has nothing to do with writing, it is about the wiring of the brain being different so to present *no dominant hand* whatsoever, and this causes problems.

And to present a counter example, I gather you are not a musician, as most musicians must learn to use their opposing hand identically to their dominant in order to play their instrument completely. How is this set of co-ordinations and dexterity different from writing? Are you saying this too would lead to depression?

  • Awesomesause :D Thanks.

  • Thanks!

  • This kid is great. Thank you rittr girrrr

  • your so cute and smart! keep it up

  • I've been trying to do this foor 2 days and it looks like Michael J. Fox's writing!!!! That's right people I went there!!!!!!!!!

  • do COD videos

  • Where did she get her information from? I'm guessing some other teacher or so.

  • i'm ambidextrous, and its so useful

  • im sorry but this is not true you can not do this its only if your ambidextrous. and i know this because i am ambidextrous

  • @babyzebramaxy lol anyone can write with the opposite hand... the problem is... can you write well with it. lol

  • she so smart :o

  • One day I just started writing with my left hand (I'm a righty) and now it's REALLY easy.

  • i want to know so if olne arm gets sore in school i can use the othher but im already ampadexries

  • Smart girl :)

  • i do everything and i mean EVERYTHING with my left hand except right i injured my hand so i had to switch and i wann switch back now its to wierd...

  • I use my tooth brush, fork ( the thing u use to eat food if thats how u spell it lol ) i write with my right hand, but i can basically do it all with my left can, its really easy for me, and people say to me in school dont you use your right hand and i love to confuse them even though its not confusing me lol xD

  • so a 10 year old is teaching me something new.. i feel ashamed

  • @UmmLikeNoDuh What has age to do with experience?

  • Just broke my right collarbone so... Time to write with my left sucky hand.

  • When I first started writing I used my left hand, but I was taught to use my right and stopped using my left for some reason...

  • thank you for the advice :)! i hate when people say wow kid... idc thanks for advice!

  • I'm right handed, and I just started taking notes in my government class using different hands. For example, if I'm on the left page in my spiral, I write with my left hand and vice versa. This gives your relatively weak left hand a chance to rest. I'm making great progress with that technique.

  • Oops. I accidentally flagged it darn iPod .-. && what if we used to be left handed so we do everything with our left hand except write? D: faaaaawk.

  • Kids these days. So intelligent. While us teens are using crayons nerd glasses bright colors and skinny jeans ._. **sigh.

  • @xoxXllamasXxox NO!!! NO!!! its not a sigh it means you gots swag unlike her she just like is a school geek all about the books and makeing her parents proud... im 13 and moving out this month ^_^ haha im gonna start writing with my left hand next semester just to be like I CAN WRITE WITH BOTH HANDS!!! HAHA!!!

  • Oh yeah I forgot to mention my left hand is actually stronger than my right but I'm not used to using it...so does that mean I'm ambidextrous or cross dominant or a rightie or a lefty?????

  • @lucariospirit well... if you write with ur right hand, and like play sports with ur left, then ur cross dominant. Im left handed but in basketball i instinctively cross to my right.

  • im a lefty. hahahahaha. she seem smart

  • I'm with gangstaa

  • can't belive im listining to this kid

  • My boss says I'm ambidextrous so now I want to learn how to write with my left hand

  • I practiced every two to three days for about thirty minutes. I can write aesthetically alright, and at a moderate pace now, after two and a half months of practice. It's all about practice.

  • @chuyne619 lololololol

  • want to make your left hand stronger ........ jack off with it it will be stronger in no time

  • want to make your left hand stronger ........ jack off with it it will be stronger in no time

  • u r looking cute :)

  • Thank you Girl!

  • Thanks, I just found out I'm ambidextrous, so I just thought to myself, hell, IMMA LEARNING TO WRITE WITH MAH LEFT HAND!

  • I wanna be a lefty Because I dont see much of lefties there like my dad is a lefty o.o

  • when i watch this video,i practice it everyday n i can write my lefty.it works!thx to u juella97.:)

  • haha I brush my teeth once a day and I don't eat cearal to often. Is there other ways I could practice being a lefty, like maybe type with my left hand lol

  • she's cute isnt she :)

  • thumbs up if ur computer froze at :53 and her face looked funny XD

  • i am right handed but when i kick a ball i kick it with my left foot. And i broke my right arm (the arm i write with) and i had to write with my left hand i could hardly read my own writing. Also 2 weeks ago i broke my left arm and now i cant do these great tips. Thanks anyway and thanks for making this FANTASTIC video.

  • lol wonder why my right hand is stronger than my left ;) lol XD jkin but seriously it is in *writing* and everything else i do agree on this vid you do better than me and im 15 lol

  • Hey thanks for the tips.

i have written a whole story of about 500+ words with my left hand, its was a torture LOL but am getting the hand of it.

    Cheers. :D

  • i write with both of my hands naturally. i use my left hand for most of my writing but whenever it gets tired i use my right hand, but yeah i have different hand writings with both of my hands lol. the only thing i do with my left hand is write and eat and i do EVERYTHING else with my right haha. its really confusing and i dont even notice it

  • i no one start using the computer mouse with your left hand

  • It's called being ambedextrious. I am. I naturally write with my left hand.

  • i am seriously goin to try this out :D <3

  • i will try your tips

  • Lol hermione granger good one shes so pale crackkkkerrrrr

  • Thx those tips were very helpful

  • Hermione Granger! :))

  • Thanks I'll try these tips

  • poop.

  • My left arm and hand have always been stronger, but I do everything with my right,,,

  • Could you please make a video of how you hold a pencil in your left hand?

  • pencil. and my grandfather and aunt are lefty, so it makes sense

  • i do everything except write with my right hand. I was possibly born lefty, since i can write perfectly in sharpie and write like i did in 2nd-3rd grade in

  • i meant 0:08

  • stop it at 0:05 it looks funny

  • if you can write good with your write and left hand then you are ambidextrous.

  • I'm cross dominant. I'm definitely left handed (throwing, writing, etc.) but I'm a bit jumbled with my feet. I surf goofy, I fight southpaw, but, I do have a tendency to climb stairs with my right foot first, and when playing soccer, I kick the ball with my right foot. Any idea what's wrong with me?

  • @glovztoshow

    how come?

  • i write with right and i want to learn how to write with left because i write alot with my write hand and it gets teird instead of taking a break for that hand i can just keep working but on my left hand. or write at the same time to finish first

  • I'll try it. BTW I'm a lefty!

  • These r good tips but I I use my right hand 2 eat I'm gonna need a bib lol

  • @rainbowgirl678 lol xD

  • you should make a hairstyle video for short hair

  • You forgot brushing hair. Good tips. I do everything with my right hand. I even type with my right hand ;only one finger ( I can't type with both hands). if i did brake it. Life would be hard. my sister broke her right hand and had to do everything left. Now i think she still typs cross handed. right under left. so anyhow, my left is weak, not used much. i think ill stay how i am.

  • Your very good at socializing , you're better at it than some adults I know ! And you sound wicked smart as well :)

  • Very good advice.

    Thank You. :o)

  • can you write with both hands?

  • Man that's so cool! I can use a knife fork and spoon with both hands and play ping pong with my left hand even though I'm right handed...the only thing I can't do is write with my left hand but I try everyday in school...but this will really help me thanks!

  • yeey!!!!thank yoou! now i whrite with both!

im soo cool in class im the only 1 that know how to whrite with both hands!

  • i wanted to ask how long would it take to use your opposite hand?

  • I think using your computer mouse with your opposite hand would help as well, but don't change the functions of the buttons, so for the left hand, the middle finger would be left click, & the index finger would be right click. I say so because, you would want to be able to use somebody else's computer without having to re-configure the buttons.

  • Thank you :)

  • very bright young lady! This helped me so much (i'm a handicapped teacher)

  • i am ambedextrous but i am more comfortable with my right. i will use your tips to help become more dominant with my left. THank you and NICE VOCABULARY!!!! u did a great job! keep it up! and btw how old r u? u sound more confident than i do and im 12!

  • I was born a lefty, but forced to be a rightie. My right hand is always stronger but lack precisement. And my left hand is not as strong as my rightie, but better in reflex and precised. I write mostly w/ my rightie (also able to write w/ my lefty moderately). throw balls w/ lefty, comp mouse lefty, punch righty. Would u consider me a lefty or a rightie ?

  • @newbornabram Well, when I ask somebody if they are a rightie or lefty, I usually mean what hand they write with. So I would consider you a rightie. But somebody baseball might consider you a lefty because you said that you throw balls with you left hand. So, I guess it all depends on the person that you ask. I say rightie!

  • @juella97 I say LEFTIE Lefites are special ppl and most ppl write with right hand no offence righties but lefties are rare i say rare!

  • @juella97 your hot :)

  • @newbornabram you are cross dominant , which means you switch hands for tasks, like write with your left and throw with your right, or write with your right but shoot a basketball with your left. so yeah you're cross dominant.

  • @newbornabram you could be ambidexterous, I am

  • @newbornabram ambidextrous, same as me, it means you can use both hands well. I was born right handed but i broke my right arm when i was in 5th grade and i didnt like people writing for me so i taut myself how to write with my left. its pretty cool :D

  • @rilesvn well. it means you use both hands naturally and evenly, if you taught ur self...thats not ambidextrous

  • @newbornabram same here....

i was also forced to be a rightie i also write with right, but i draw better with left, eat with left....brush with left etc etc.

  • @newbornabram - Whichever eye is more dominant is what you are. So, my left eye is more dominant than my right eye. I was born a lefty, but forced to be a righty. However, I can do things with my left hand. So, I'm a lefty. EVEN THOUGH I do thing most things with my right hand.

  • @Revak21 haha I am left handed too high five (with left hand) haha

  • Are you a lefty or a righty???

  • i'm ambidextrous :)

  • @yourteendreamgirl15 what does that mean??

  • if you write from left to right you should use right hand if you write from right to left you should use the left hand.arabic languages use to write from right to left.

The ancient Greeks(Hellenes)had developed a unique writing that was called βουστοφιδον(voustofedon) the special thing about βουστοφιδον is that you write both sides.... one line from left to right and next line from right to left and the letters looking backwards....for example when you write from right to left d=b

  • You sound so smart haha. But I wanna stay a lefty haha it's unique :)

  • @giggles196 I agree....also, stay with what you're comfortable with!

  • good job now i can use my left hand

  • i write with my left, i throw a ball with my right, brush my teeth with left, swing a bat with my left, ect.

  • I am left handed :)))

  • @thisisnotanemail22 me 2! :3

  • I've spread the various actions between the two hands. fork in right hand, knife in left, pistol is left, rifle is right, basketball left, guitar right, and so forth and so on. That way, if something were to happen to one of my hands in say a freak excavator-related accident or something, I now have in theory a 100% chance of losing half my abilities, instead of having a 50% chance of losing all my abilities. The reconvalescence time after the accident is thereby halved also.

  • are you left handed?

  • @lolcatzrok nope!

  • you sound very intelligent

  • i tried holding my spoon in my left hand while eating soup and i droped it on the floor

  • thanx for the tips cause all I ever wanted to do was write with my write left hand and will make my dream come true!!!! :D xxxx

  • superlollypopbabe..xxx eerrrm plz can u make another 1 with u showing uscuzz im really stuck.x from superlollypopbabe!

  • It's hard writing with your right hand !!!!!

  • For tip #2: Do you know how hard it is to eat with your left hand? I can't use my other hand for chopsticks...I remembered when I was a kid I used chopsticks with my dominant hand like second nature.

For tip #3: I try writing but it gets difficult and confusing What positions? What postures? What strokes?

  • excellent... inspired me with many activities to do with my opposite hand.

  • so cute

  • thank's sooo much sweetie, i'll try doing all you're tips!!! great fluency by talking in fron th cam. keep it up!

  • Lol.i write like a kinder gardener again!

  • @Sushibubbles17 Like a gardener? Lol, I think it's spelled Kindergarten, one word.

  • @88riddlemethis LOL I don't know why I spelled kindergartner like that...(:

  • @Sushibubbles17 Lol, I'm just messing with you.

  • The best video for this type of thing (how to write with the other hand) that You are just amazing at this!

  • Instead of brushing my teeth and I jack off?

  • Rofl @ the sexist comments to the little girl. Stfu trolls.

  • I am a right hander and I chose to teach myself to write with my left. I was always writing notes in my classes and my right hand would constantly get fatigued from writing so much. I thought it would be great to be able to write with my left hand so that if my right hand gets tired, my left hand could take over.

  • You might actually be useful at something else than making sandwitches.

  • @Tennispro349 and you might be useful for something other then a sperm donor.

  • @missbree2242 Yes, I am useful for alot of stuff.

  • Can you write with your oppiste hand? You should make a video of that! :)

  • Very usefull tips. All i ever did was just write the ABC's. I could write with my left hand but im just a little slow and a little sloppy. Its just not as good as my right hand.

  • Thanks for the tips! I've been trying to write with my left hand for a while now

  • know I can Wright with both hands
