  • The mind never solved suffering because the mind is suffering. How can a the suffering mind bring about a peaceful mind?

  • 5:25 Arnold's friend from Different Strokes? ;)

  • A great video!

  • 7:30 he is right.

    :)

  • Thank you lrlslrls! I have been searching for this video for a long time. My old landlady had the first video in the rediscovery of life series. I watched it many times. I tried to copy it and I tried to find one to buy online, but I failed on both accounts. Now I have a copy. Thank you:)

  • I love the story of the ricksaw puller. "He was alive I was dead."

  • to Kirk (continued from above) God/consciousness isn't expecting everyone to succeed all the time. I guess the thing is to relax. Even DeMello felt his efforts were feeble at times, but that's another judgement.

  • (continued) It's not theory, it has to be practiced. Disregard doubtful or fearful thoughts and emotions and simply keep watching and the transformation will occur spontaneously.

  • What you said is really True and beautiful! But it's really hard to do, especially with all the guilt and shame we Westerners have:) But you're absolutely right! It's NOT something you can just read and think about! It's got to be put into practice, Intensely! Not just 50%, but 100%, for it to really come to fruition. A great way to start is to Always be kind to others, no matter how you feel. Always Smile, be appreciative of others, and let the other person go first:) Nice comment:)

  • Dear Kirk, as Eckhart Tolle said there are very few people on the planet who can maintain the state of awareness for any length of time. But each time does make a difference and slowly builds consciousness. I know how hard it is and how infrequent it occurs by effort, but since that state is already fully developed beyoned the mind, the secret is to do absolutely nothing but be aware - it's so simple, the brain doesn't know what to do without a process and something to think about.

  • A genuinely inspired teacher. The message has nothing to do with religion, but with reality: understanding that thoughts and emotions are not objective reflections of reality. That true human nature is beyond biological circuitry in the brain and imprinted emotional chemical-electrical activity. If you can simply watch your thoughts and emotions you can become aware of what it is that allows awareness of thoughts, emotions and physical senses to occur. (continued)
