It's funny- as small child in the late 80's my parents would watch this occasionally, but now that I'm grown at 27 years old I ADORE this show! It makes me laugh, I hope whole heartedly I take after these ladies. The humor and quirkiness, and constant puns are hilarious. These are how your Golden Years should be spent!

Did anyone ever see the English version of The Golden Girls?They were meant to be in Brighton,and they just did the exact same dialogue as the originals!!I remember watching the very first episode,which was the pilot of The Golden Girls...Sheila Hancock was in it,as Dorothy if i remember well enough!!It was completely awful,and totally UNfunny...which just go's to show that these actresses (Bea/Rue/Betty and Estelle,were absolute masters of their craft,and worked pure magic together!!
