  • Well, you missed him.....i understood.

  • @Faiibaii8 Him who, God? I'm confused.

  • @seekgeo hahahahahahahahaha i got u

  • @Faiibaii8 Oh my... o.O

Someone said you probably meant Jes, geesh. Because of Jes, I decided to start taking pictures? LOL, that's silliest thing I have ever heard.

I've always loved taking pictures but it was too much for two photographers so figured no need for me, that's how I focused on doing videos from day one. When he left, I picked up the camera to go on trips, I realized how much I missed taking pictures since it has been years.

    *smh*

  • I'm really impressed with your photography. Love how you switch from what we see on the video to what you create with your camera. What a difference. Beautiful, artistic compositions.

  • That ship photo was outstanding! You are so talented! Keep it up.

I have a question though- were you born without hearing, or did it come later in life?

  • Happy New Year to you as well. All the best for 2012.

  • I liked the pictures you showed us in the vlog. Excellent! Truly atmospheric.

  • @deafdub Thank you! :-D

  • Seekgeo, I wonder what happen to your GoPro?

  • @yordan78giordan Oh, I still have GoPro - it's mainly only good for activities such as skiing, biking, etc. If I ever get involved in one of these activities, I definitely will use it.

  • Amazing footage, editing and photos! Geo, hon, you just keep rocking the world! You get better and better at all you do. I'm still such a fan!!

  • @LZupp Well, thank you and glad you are such a great friend of mine! :-) Hugs.

  • Awesome photos you took with HDR...I have trouble understanding how this is done with HDR...I have Canon 450D (Xsi), I love taking pictures, too!! I want to learn how to use HDR! The pictures you took with the clouds hovering above the lopsided boat and the train track is so frigging awesome...perfect weather for these kind of pictures!! Wished we live closer so we can go photo hopping everywhere, lol! Keep it up to take pictures and good luck with photography classes!! Have fun! Hugs!

  • @DeafPoet2 Aw, thank you! I agree that sometimes using HDR can be great for certain kind of weather like that. Canon 450D is very nice camera, if want to learn more about hdr, can always buy books or at least learn from someone that lives closer to you. That's how I learn from it.

Funny though, some people thought some pictures were result in HDR but really not, it's all about how you know to use the camera. Gotta love the trick. ;-)

  • Great pics!

  • @Jonrobrt Thanks! :-D

  • I really love love those pictures! Each pictures has thousand words!!!

  • @bluescorpion72 Aw, thank you!

  • my wife is think about take as well but at this point she is teach some student at school. i haev a friend who happen to be a professional photographic and film. he start out all by himself of course, mentor, coach, or whatever so his business became sucessful. i am pretty sure you will do just great. just stick to your goal and make it happen!!!!

  • @dustincottrell3 Hey you! Well, thank you for such a great encouragement! This is true, can make things happen if want it so bad. I still want to take classes only because I can imagine it'd be a lot of fun learning more things and such. Let's hope I can as soon as I know where I will settle in.

Right now, I consider myself a hobbyist photographer but who knows later on. :-)

  • You use HDR technique with your photographs right? :D Not that it's a bad thing, but it's kinda recognizable. :D Nice captures.

  • @indumamoon Hey, thanks! I used only 2 out of 3 in HDR that you saw in video. The HDR I took were the first two pictures. So far, I have 37 photos in my album and I counted only 11 of them were taken in HDR.

So really it's all depend on weather, where you point at, etc. :-) I love HDR but it's not meant for at everything.

  • @seekgeo Yup you're right, it's not for all! ;) Nice photographs btw - I also take photos too now and then. Lately I'm lazy though, winter isn't my buddy at all!

  • @indumamoon Ha, same here.. not too crazy about winter cuz sometimes I want to go out taking pictures especially at nights but way too cold. I really need more practice taking pictures at nights so will do later on when it's warmer, heh!

  • impressive photos! I got the Canon EOS60D - I have lot to learn! Not much time to play with it yet.. Soon, I will. Thanks for your tip -

  • @ASLKimber Oh wow, that's a very nice camera and thank you! Feel free to get in touch with me and we can learn from each other. Giving tips is always great. :-)

  • Love your photoworks! :) Happy New years to you! <3

  • @BeachFairy83 Aw, thank you! Hope you have a fantastic 2012 and the same with me. :-)

  • I really LOVE your pictures and your ideas! WTG

  • @MyNanaJox9 Hey, many thanks! Have a fantastic weekend coming up, let's hope there will be a nice weather here so I can take some more pics. It's going to rain today, allll day. Darn! :-D

  • I do love you because you got on the bridge anyway! Two good shots of the bridge and the boat. Very haunting and very beautiful. Makes me want to go there.

  • @RiverBirch1967 Aw, thank you! I liked the first and third. It's like a very addictive for me taking pictures, nowadays it's hard cuz of cold, rain and all. So I wonder what I will be like once Spring and Summer hits.... I'd probably never be home, heehee.
