  • Polluted na nga ang baguio..Dami ng tao mga pakalat kalat sa bangketa vendors..hindi nmn taga baguio dapat ipagbawal mga taong iyon..

  • i fell in love in baguio.. and with baguio :D god i miss this place.

  • that's not clouds over Manila...that's straight up pollution.

  • thats my place, near airport

  • the baguio airport might be converted to a car drag racing strip

  • the best thing to do when visiting the philippines is to drive not fly from place to place that way you can enjoy more your trip

  • Oh, I saw the school where I had my practicum...

  • 6:30 hey i can see my house

  • You did hear chickens-they're the ones flying the plane!

  • Hello ! Can you tell me when you shot this film ?

In 1980, I first visited Philipines. The first city I visited was also Manila. Then I went to Baguio from Manila by plane. A fews years later( I cannot remember the exact date), I read from the newspapers that the same plane was crashed when landing in Baguio.

  • wow last time i saw baguio was in 1993 before i moved to california

  • you might also want to try the CURAMED pharmacy. All drugs available=)

  • Hi there everyone ! going to baguio soon cant wait just need to know the best place to buy marajuana from (cannabis) i heard the philipines is great for drug smokers !!! anyway thanks for the help !!! also what is the drug taking capital of philipines i need to go there when i leave baguio too ! thanks again for all the help take care !!!

  • Go to were we get our drugs...at the mercury drug..just get a tricyle that will go Vroom-vrooming.

  • cool ill remember that thankyou ! do i need to be worried about concerned citizens informing the police ??? i guess what im trying to ask is how careful do i need to be smoking in public !!! i mean in London its no problem to walk down the street with one but in other parts of the country its a little more difficult i have to find forests or out of the way parks !!! thanks for the help !

  • Do yuo have the tiniest brain cell between your ears? You DO NOT talk about these things on a forum. Go to the Philippines, and you'll be approached. Think about the destination and not just the drugs you imbicile...

  • WHY ??? there are loads of weed forums no one is gonna bother tracking you or i down especially not for asking where to get without mentioning anything else !!! ok lets test it !!!! if you want weed in London UK you can go to camden town there you will recieve about 2 or 1 spliff for 20 pounds if you want better weed Hackney is your best bet !! just hang arround london fields park !! i live in the north and i buy my weed from manchester or Newcastle ! there ! someone arrest me !!!!

  • oh...in that case, go to baguio ang go further deep into mountain province territory....theres lots of chonkee farms there....even the girls are cheap, at $1 per pop.

    happy hunting.

  • baguio is crowded and dirty

  • LOL, so there WERE chickens. Too funny!!! Its beautiful there. I will go someday.

  • bat kaya nila sinara yung baguio airport?? hmm i really love baguio.. baguio is my life! very cool video.. haaayy

  • i went to baguio last week nde nmn po sinara ung airport

  • nice video man! thanks. now lets fry some chicken...

  • ang taas..... sarap tumalon ng walang reserve parachutes..............

  • the side of the runway makes it look like an ordinary street, not a runway.

  • exactly i was surprise when i saw it that a road that i am looking is a run way of an airport

  • Baguio is so polluted now!!

  • Thanks for sharing, man. It was quite a perspective being able to view the trip from the plane.

  • i miss baguio a lot!

  • I was sadden to know that they closed the Airport in Baguio. I hope they will re-consider to putit back again. Sad to know that Baguio is the Summer Capital Of the Philippines and no Airport? Not nice discretion on Businesses. Certainly the view travelling thru land is great but still by plane will save time and hardship whose been travelling long. Like if you come from a far distance. I really hope they will re-open the Airport in Baguio. It was not a wise decision closing is it.

  • flying to baguio now is risky. Cebu Pacific and PAL lost planes and lives when the planes crashed on the mountains

  • sorry to tell vai air to baguio no more there are no plane going to baguio the airport are closed now.. so we can reach baguio tru land by a bus ride..yeah hehehe..

  • travel to baguio takes to long just becouse of the 3 times or 4 stop over in in diffrent state.. but it much better if u travel by a bus rather than a plane so many cool places u can xplor with.. love baguio wish we can go back there again this christmas..

  • Philippines looks beautiful from 2000 feet up.

  • Its really to bad they cancelled all the flights to Baguio.

  • I think it will be more exciting to travel on bus than plane if you want to savor what nature is to Baguio....

  • Nice to watch this video, I miss Baguio. I was born and raised there and proud to be a Baguio native. The trip from Manila to Baguio will take about 4-8 hrs depending on the time of the day. If you travel at night time or early morning like 1 am , you can reach Baguio in 4 hrs. There is no way you can reach Baguio via boat, it is in the mountains. You can go boating in Burnham Park though!!!LOL

  • i mISS bAGUIO i used to work there. what a good and wonderful view from above but u know what? u can enjoy mor of baguio by bus. Well that is if u don't have sea ssickness. the zigzag roads are truly a challenge to travellers.

  • what a waste of money!!! you know you could have just toke a charter bus going there I should know, I've been to the Philippines 4 times and still know how to get there

  • well were you u born there? no i guess not

  • it's because my background is Filipino

  • Please, which is the distance between Manila and Baguio, which is the height on the level of the sea of this city, and which is his average temperature.

  • manila to baguio is very far maybe 1 day on a bus or 2 days on a boat i know cuz i have been to philippines 10 time

  • anikan66, thank you my friend, but have I understood that Baguio City, this one located towards the north of the Island of luzon and in the middle of a region of high mountains ?

  • you know what you're talking about? How'd you have a boat travel in the mountains?? It's just 6 to 8 hrs max, depends on the bus liner... I don't know but your travel agent might have brought you somewhere else...maybe punjabi...

  • Manila to Baguio is about 6 to 8 hours it varies with the traffic. No you can not take a boat to Baguio. Its a city on top of a mountain. I know I am from Baguio.

  • wtf?! 1 day on the bus and 2 days on a boat? and you say that you know bec. you have been to the phil 10 times? didn't you now that if you travel for 10 hrs. to baguio it is already long and baguio is a damn plateau!

  • approximately 250 kl. away from manila. 5-6 hours from manila to baguio. and a temperature of 16-20 degrees celcius

  • Thank you my friend, are interesting be able to know that exists a city on the high mountains in The Philippines, a the slands group, where the majority of the people lives near the sea, regards from Costa Rica in Latin América

  • I love the baguio for sure but we didn't go there 2 years ago.

  • Huhuh!! i mIss baguio!! kelan kya ult ako makakapunta jn?? miss ko na ung environment jn!!

  • hahahaha...funny!...i miss my place

  • Hey! starting at 3:20, that's Philex! a mining community i was once connected with! Yay!

  • i have not been to baguio. i hope to visit the place someday somehow

  • how much is that going to baguio?. .

  • OMG!! Im so happy I saw your video, really, I actually took the same plane, ON THE SAME SEAT, its just that I flew from Baguio to Manila, haha, funny. . .

It brought back memories of my first newbie flight, its like watching it backwards, haha,

Im from Baguio by the way, and Im pretty sure you're on seat B2, yeah, if im wrong, its the seat beside left engine, I had videos too, sadly they got destroyed, it woldve been nice to do a response video backwards,

I know you heard the engines too, :)

  • Good movie shame about the music the Engines sound of the YS-11 is music enough

  • wow! thanks for letting us see our home town from a "brids eye view"..surely its moutainous and the weather is just right..hope you enjoyed your stay there..its a bit crowded these days though..(migration of people from lowlands, and poor birth control i guess) tnx!

  • ....and the chicken hehehe!.. awesome video!

  • nice

  • wow!!!!!!!! thanks for sharing

  • ive been to baguio but i went by bus from manila and it took me and my gf 7 hrs. i didnt know the airport was still open. who can tell me what airline goes there from manila

  • Very important talaga ang isang airport for a mountain area like Baguio....Kaya sana huag ng ipaclose ni arroyo ang airport para lang sa expansion ng PEZA.Huag sanang isakripisyo ng mga opisyan ang economic gains na makukuha para iclose ang airport.Don't be too selfish and arrogant about money. The airport served as the only passageway open going to Baguio during the earthquake of 1990 since all the 4 major routes were clsed due to it's massive destruction. So why risk?

  • Wow, I think I just saw my house from your video *lol* I used to live in Baguio City and I live here in California. So how's your trip? how did you like Baguio? I hope you enjoyed, I hella enjoyed your video, it gives me memories. Thanks

  • This is so cool! I love Philippines!

  • igorot land

  • The best part about going to Baguio is THE TRIP. I've always taken the bus, but maybe next time I go home, I'll fly. It definitely gives you a different perspective. Thanks for posting.

  • wow galing pare parang nasa heaven ako!!!!!!!

  • fuck u !!! mountains and forest being denuded to raised roads and subdivison thats why we hav shortage of farmlands and endangered species.. care about our nature dont be selfish

  • Very nice video.

I remember in 2006 when my family and I traveled in a big van from Manila to Baguio. It took maybe 6 hours (we had to stop for breakfast) so we had to leave early in the morning.

It was cool riding up the mountains and you suddenly feel the warm air switch to cooler air. I also stayed at a beautiful Hotel in Baguio City called Hotel Supreme.

And one of my aunties lives higher up in the mountains of mist in this 3-story cottage or something. It was an adventure!

  • Gotta love Baguio!

  • I don't think I've ever taken a domestic flight in the Philippines where I haven't heard chickens coming along. The bad part though is when they pee all over your luggage which unfortunately happened to me once. It's not the Philippines unless you hear a car horn beeping or a rooster crowing! Check out my videos from the Philippines...

  • been here in manila for 2 mmonths and i already miss baguio...

  • you didnt know that cameras and phone is not permitted on the plane but its nice ive go there with a our car it takes for how many hours you how many hours you took on plane

  • Funny you mention chickens. My wife is a Filipina, and every time I called her when she was visiting her parents in Candelaria, there was ALWAYS a damned rooster that would crow next to the window. It's like he knew when she was on the phone! :)

I remember as a kid riding a bus from Manila to Baguio visiting my Lolo and Lola, looking out my window and being scared because we're so close to the side of the mountain. It's my dream to go back someday. I have fond memories visiting my grandparents in Baguio. Thanks for posting this video.

When me and mom get to Manila from Hawaii, that's a 14 hour drive, then 2 hours from the airport to our townhouse in Manila, then from there to Grandpa's house in Baguio is 10 hours. My legs aren't happy.
