@L1N450 that's a tactic...you need to enable it by first putting skills points on tactics, then spending the tactics point you get on the boost ability. pressing W twice or thrice makes you jump like that.

you can only play so much before lag, erratic frame rate, menu momentary freeze and slow update times get in your nerves, but it appears yours is running smoothly.

Black Prophecy is the new space mmo. More people are coming to it. The next expansion already came out and has new weapons, better xp rates, better graphics and better explosions! How could BP get any better? CONFIRMED - Station walking/running with an auction house and customizable crew quarters and Clan battleships/carriers coming in the next 2 seasons. Stay tuned!

There's nothing to do after level 15 or so aside from mission/exp grinding.

Flamethrowers are ridiculously overpowered though. Range doesn't really help unless they've invested a few points in boost and even then most flamers have boost also. Its the only weapon that does constant ridiculously-high damage.

That said, I find it humorous that almost all the 'BP PvP' vids on YT are all from the Tyi.

@tomegathericon It's beta footage. Just before I quit playing they slowed the movement quite alot. I don't know if they kept it like that though.

@EndGamersTV I was also a beta tester, since when the EU CBT was under NDA in fact, and even then my ship wasn't so agile with so many heavy parts. I never got any rare engines while on EU and US CBT though. If you had a ship with almost every item purple. with enhanced stats and lower mass than white and gray items, it could be possible to have this agility. Was this the case? I'm not trying to inply you were cheating, I'm just curious.

@tomegathericon I remember putting alot of points in engines. Higher level vendor items were better than lowbie rares etc. Maybe because of that?

Anyway, most of my items came from the vendors.

This game looks amazing, but I hear it has a huge dependency on a cash shop. That's a big turn off for me, I'd rather pay a monthly fee than have to dab in and out of a cash shop just to play an unbalanced game... -_-

If I was Gamigo I would use the Guild Wars model. If you are really interested in this game you could pay a one time price (say something like $30-40) and then if you want you can buy premium items all you want.

I just don't like one thing about this game... That its free :) Why? Because I am a passionate Elite, Frontier, Freelancer player and I had to wait almost ten years to see a game title worthy of being a successor of the last successful Elite clone - Freelancer. Now the servers are flooded with people which are there just to fool around and "steal" the bandwidth from those who actually like the game.

On the other side I am afraid that this amount of quality content could be wasted :(

@EvasionMaster And you fail to get my point: PVP isn't the only thing there is to test, and you're not actually supposed to play a beta for fun (as in, not merely blow those level 1 players there up), but test everything until it breaks. Then submit a report.
