Hey all, I too am an opiate addict. I was using IV heroin everyday for over 4 years. I got on suboxone at first without insurance and had to pay $7 per pill for 90 pills per month plus Dr. fees, which was more than $600 a month just to stay clean. I've since gotten great insurance which allows me to get all my suboxone for free and I have a lot of extra suboxone scripts left over. I am willing to help anybody out who wants to get clean but doesn't have the funds to do it. Msg me......

Do read this book. I have no clue of what your going through, I read the book as a fan of his, not because of addiction problems but I can tell you that I have seen many postings/comments on Nikki videos where people struggling with addiction stated that this book helped them. I have read the book and it was amazing. So many emotions. And the music is beautiful and full of nothing but the truth and hardships he faced.
People don't seem to understand just how hard it had to be for Nikki to actually take a diary from the most excruciating year of his life and lay it out for the world to see in both writing and lyrics. I think he did a wonderful job and a wonderful thing. Maybe some people read it and change too.

exactly a year ago a friend of my family died. he died bcuz he used to smoke a lot. they revived him 3 times, but it was his time to go... it was a really sad day for all of us, so i can imagine the pain all those ppl really close to nikki went thru. hes was smart enough to keep a diary nd then release it, so other ppl dont fall. now i dont wanna sound like a hater, but it was pretty stupid of him of shooting again right after he got home from the hospital lol.

I took it in and borrowed a gun from a friend. I held the .9mm up to my temple and said it was over. Until I realized this is not the thing to do. I can change this. I did just that and got out of this. If you are suffering from any drug ;pick up thid book. It can cure you.

I have been through a heroin problem. I did it for 13 years and have quit ever since I picked up and read this book. It was amazing. It literally spoke to me. I am glad I quit the shit. It fucked me up relly bad. I went from a full time job and girlfriend, to living behind an old dumpster outside of a TJ max. Once I got on the street I had no money for drugs and I came to my senses and relized what the hell am I here for.

Too much e-mail, too many possessions, too many things to worry about. A less complex life means less to concern oneself with. Success brings responsibility, which in turn brings worry. I can't go on vacation without checking my BlackBerry. It would be wonderful not to whine (as you say), but have you had success and not felt pain? It's not easy.

I have read the book and it was amazing. So many emotions. And the music is beautiful and full of nothing but the truth and hardships he faced.
People don't seem to understand just how hard it had to be for Nikki to actually take a diary from the most excruciating year of his life and lay it out for the world to see in both writing and lyrics. I think he did a wonderful job and a wonderful thing. Maybe some people read it and change too.

exactly a year ago a friend of my family died. he died bcuz he used to smoke a lot. they revived him 3 times, but it was his time to go... it was a really sad day for all of us, so i can imagine the pain all those ppl really close to nikki went thru. hes was smart enough to keep a diary nd then release it, so other ppl dont fall. now i dont wanna sound like a hater, but it was pretty stupid of him of shooting again right after he got home from the hospital lol.

You're right in a large way. A bit of it is directed to fans and to get more media. But there is also a part of it that is real and that he wants to share so that others know what its like and that they will stay away.
