Both shows are great. A remake of the original with as many of the original cast would be great, also. And, since the new show is ending, what is wrong with renewing the original?

however this is just a test, it would have been a lot more polished in execution. i personally would have preferred Singer team to do this because they had a better respect for the themes of the show and sci-fi in general. the that is on the air is nothing more than a soap opera imho.

The FX look brilliant in this. It's a shame that it got cancelled but there's still hope yet. Apparently De Santo has stated in an interview that he will return to doing a BSG continuation once the Transformers movie (which he is a producer of) has been completed and is successful. Which looks like it will be. I just DeSanto brings Richard Hatch along for the continuation. I prefer Hatch's vision to De Santo's in terms of storyline.

Thank you for posting this "Bryan Singer version" videos. This is just so epic. Updated and new, yet hits all the right nostalgia buttons. (like Superman Returns) Nothing like the shaky-cam Battlesex Rapetica crap that Sci-Fi Channel went with.
