  • Your volume is way too low - couldn't hear it well enough. You might enjoy my randomized block theorem and derivation of a coefficient of covariance for replicated data sets.

  • @cusanusnicolas I checked it out and it seems quite loud enough to me.

  • @tbbeqa Yeah, ok, but my situation doesn't permit me to plug into speakers with volume, I have to sit in a cybercafe with earphones only, so I'm just giving feedback from that social tier. I can't hear about 1/10 of the youtube videos for that reason. Most are ok if I keep the earphone slider up.

  • @cusanusnicolas I use headphones all the time to listen and my earlier comment on the OK volume was when I listened on the headphones. Could it be that the headphones you are using are not matched to the output of the computer you are using? Since you have trouble with many of the Youtube sounds, it is not my volume that is at fault. By the way why do you call the randomized block a "theorem?"

  • @tbbeqa The "theorem" is my own derivation of a coefficient of covariance that gives the best explanation of the meaning of block variation and significane - in terms of covariance among combinations of treatment pairs from block to block. This coefficient I call an r value, similar to conventional r sq. You can see the detailed derivation using the link on my profile to left. Yes, my headset isn't the best, I'll find something better.

  • Well, our science club held this annual competition ( Science Olympia) every year for all ( high school) science club in all states to compete w/ one anothers and the competition consist of different field of science. Also we don't actually use books but websites for guidelines.

  • Glad to have helped. How did you do in the competition? Are you considering this field as a career? What year are you in? I taught Experimental Design for over 35 years.

  • This is great! I could actually use this as a backup video for my experimental design studies for competition! thank you so much for uploading it!:)

  • Thank you for watching and commenting. I hope the other DOE videos I have posted and help even more. What is the competition? Where is your course? What book do you use?

  • Excelent video, try to get simple all the concepts that uses the design of experiments.

I am going to tell about the video to my students
