dentist may have been great, but for best results long-term, you should have gone to an endodontist. they use microscopes and better equipment and handle just about everything that can be thrown at them.

I just had root canals done on two teeth, and it is completley painless, didnt even feel the needle. I think if you have pain, it is caused from infection, not the actual procedure, the next day, still didnt hurt at all!

i just had one 4 days ago and it hurts so bad the next day oh gosh im taking pain killers and penicillin too

They kill the root in your tooth so it doesn't hurt anymore. I have to get two if you need one and don't get it the tooth will keep rooting.
