  • nice irish accent!

  • @TheRantsOfABookWorm it's an english accent

  • @puppersings i meant for luna lovegood!

  • 10,000 veiwer aww yeah hahaha

  • Your very talented

  • is lavender really dead? i have the scene in mind and greyback is leaning above her and stuff but j k rowling said (but that was on the book) that lavender gets saved and that she doesn't turn into a werewolf...

  • Hey great video. it would be really great if you guys checked out my first video! thanks.

  • amazing

  • Do you plan out the different sections? Like where you're going to be and what you're going to wear when you're saying certain things? Or is it just sort of make it up as you go?

Also, you're brilliant. I love you and you're hilarious

  • When i read thbook 7 i cried so hard when Fred Weasley died!!! I also got emotional when he died in the movie, although i knew it was coming. Fred was my favoirte twin!!! Viva La Fred

  • your glasses <3

  • i love the wig at 3:29

  • I saw it for my birthday ^ - ^

  • And Voldemorts eyes are supposed to be red. They are blue in the movies.

  • omg ur eyes change color from brown to green and to blue!

  • I think it's because the director despised the Ron and Hermione pairing. He wanted Hermione to end up with Harry and let it show.

  • i loved the memory sequence, so pretty - like when they were lying on the grass in the sun together - but yes, it was a bit too short :/ x

  • Hahaha nice video =) Watched a couple of yours now, think i'll subscribe.

  • I was so disappointed that the sorting hat wasnt lit on fire on Neville's head!

  • ...but they didnt include that at all, i was rather dissapointed with the 19 years later alltogether really :(

I have also grown up with harry potter because it has been around for my whole life (the first book was published a month after i was born) so i cant inagine a world with out it :)

  • pretty sure i agree with nearly everythng you just said, anotherthing that i noticed in the last film that really annoyed me was that harry didnt kill snape! in the books snape kills dumbledor and so snape is the rightfull owner of the elder wand and harry kills snape so then harry is the rightfull owner so when voldemort trys to kill harry with it, the want reverses and kills voldemort with his own spell. i also agree with the ending i liked the bit about teddy kissing victoria on the train...

  • I'm not a very big fan of Harry Potter but love your 'Back in the Future' poster on the wall.

  • Omg i was watching this for a laugh but it was great i love u will u marry me lolz i luv ur accient. Good job on the vid

  • Oh my goodness. Can we please be best friends.

  • Hi! your movie reviews are so amazing! can you do a review of the lord of the rings movie trilogy? I would love it! but then again your videos are amazing anyway!

  • yeah I totally agree with the lily- / eyes-thing. I mean how hard can it be to put on contacts for like 3 scenes?! why? that's the one thing about lily that even the non-book-readers know! >:(

same with the boat house for me. why do they always think they have to make up new things for the movies (e.g. neville giving harry the gillyweed instead of dobbie). what the heck is wrong with the Shrieking Shack?

  • Great review, summarised the movies beautifully - why couldn't they have Peeves in some shape or form (other than the small appearance in the first movie). I think though it'd be difficult keeping a straight face with Rik Mayall around BTW you look great with dark hair :)

  • I agree so much with everything, and thought the SAME things! hehe, I should learn occlumency:) You just explained everything so well, and had a couple of laughs here and there:) loved, favorited:)

  • respect to j.k rowling her books have given me alot of reading pleasure

  • Pretty sure I agree with nearly everything you just said :P ESPECIALLY about the deaths being swept over.

  • thank you I've said this since the fist movie... peeves was a comic re-leaf that we needed in the movie (LOONY loony loopin) :P <<< classic peeves :\ sigh

  • Best 11 minutes 33 seconds OF MY LIFE!

  • I find you hilarious, just saying. Also, I agree with lot of the things you said. And nice Bellatrix wig xD

  • ich liebe deinen Akzent :D

  • you look cute with the potter-glasses :)

  • I WANT PEEVES IN THE MOVIES!!!

  • Awesome ! I found some of your views very funny!!!

  • you are very ... natural in filming yourself....i like that

  • Hehe I love your point of view. I agree with a lot of the things you said. There were really only two parts I really didn't want them to mess up on from the moment I read the book.

One being the dragon scene, it wasn't horrible.

Two being Molly vs. Bella. They put it in the film so it wasn't a complete fail, but it was too short. I mean the way it was described in the book was just so perfect, and well the movie was a let down. Like you said.

  • I googled the painting and is indeed amazing, I liked the ''column'' metaphor.

  • Peeves was in the first film. He was supposed to be played by Rick Mayal (Bottom) but they used a Computer Generated Imagery instead :)

  • I agree but I think that Neville should of killed Bellatrix instead of Molly even though I found it hilarious! It was a bit random and Neville deserved revenge to Bellatrix for killing his parents:)

  • Over all I liked the movie alot but I was really dissapointed with the end. I can't beleive they forgot to mention how Harry fixed his original wand! and I don't like how he just destroys it at the end instead of returning it to dumbledore's tomb. Also I wish the epilouge was a bit longer. I mean honestly, what's a couple more minutes to the movie?

  • FEEL YOU ON THAT PEEVES THING! he's such a character in the books...i had always looked forward to him...p.s. this is a super awesome video

  • You spelt Lily Potter wrong. It only has 1 L :L :L :L

  • The battle between Bellatrix and Mrs. Weasley seemed to take place in a really small place and went on for about 10 seconds. Unfair. STUPID CONFETTI DEATH.

  • go to FL Hogwarts does exist. :)

  • my sentiments exactly. :)

  • I thought the movie was rather boring. Also, (not specifically regarding the movie) the sword of Gryffindor doesn't make sense since wizards don't use swords. They battle with magic, not blades.

  • @gastronomist Then how come Harry had to fight the basilisk with the sword in the chamber of secrets?!

  • i totally agree w u! i was completely dissatisfied and i felt horrible like it was the last movie and i should hv loved it regardless!

lily's eyes totally bothered me too...and ron and hermiones kiss=totes fake! no lips!

  • Not a Voldemort hug... :)

  • I think Peeves appeared for about 2 or 3 seconds in the first film, if you look very closely

  • lol at 4:53

and THANK YOU for ranting about this, it's actually hilarious

  • i agree with every single thing you said. so many small things were overlooked, dumbed down, or changed altogether and it kinda made me sad. but it was an excellent film. i will be buying it, regardless of my beef with it.

  • oooh hello! haha beckie, im not in to harry potter at all...but i watched this cause you are so awesome and i love you(: <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • Beckie im amazed of d harry potter props u have! :D

  • what i love out the movie the most is when Snape cried over Harry's mother's death when he had her in his arms n crying over her. Now thats TRUE LOVE! :)) n dats d only scene i cried :)

  • I bought the Deathly Hallows. But never read past the first page.

  • :P

  • Very well said Beckie.

  • I expected the last movie to become my favorite. Because Deathly Hallows is my favorite book. But this movie sort of disappointed me. It was good but it was missing things. I agree, I expected to come out of the theaters with tears pouring. I felt a lot of scenes were rushed & although I know it would make the movie longer, I still feel like there should have been more like Snape's memories, Ron & Hermione's kiss, Bellatrix & Molly's fight. It was good and I loved it. But it just wasn't enough.

  • Oh god you're like my friend becky... her name actually is becky... and she can spot every little thing in everything ever before it happens...

  • (Correct me if i'm wrong) When Snape died (I LOVE YOU SNAPE) in the Boat house, i just want to point out, that in the movie they never had a Boat house before and just added it in. What is the point of the Boat house anyway!! It's not like wizards go canoeing! :) It would have been nice if they made him die in the Shreiking Shack like J.K wrote. But the movie's still great!!

  • I miss fred. I didn't like it that much it was good but not great, they made the whole horcurxi (can't spell) thing to easy he worked things out for himself in the book in the movie he was told everything, I know it was easier and shorter for him to be told but it made him seem like abit of a twit.

  • I still have to see that movie. Plus brush up on some of the previous movies as well.

  • Delightful vlog, Miss Brown!

Your summation was perfect! These books and films have had such an enormous impact on an entire generation of humanity. I believe this story will remain a wonderful part of our culture forever.

  • Is your Dad/Mum holding the Harry Potter pillow up behind you at the end?

Just noticed another human behind you :)

  • the kiss was a great moment, but I did feel it was a bit bigger in the book :D

  • Oh yeah Rik Mayall was meant to play Peeves! They shot the scenes and everything, but they had to cut them out because he made the students laugh too much. I know they were only young and inexperienced in the first film, but I wish the actors could of been more professional and hold their laughter so my favourite comedian could be in HP. He really is a british national treasure.

  • I thought the Prince's Tale was beautifully done, but one thing, from the 5th-8th movie,I really hate how they depicted Snape as the victim&James just a bully.A lot of people are like"snape/lily forever"but what they don't understand is that James changed because he loved Lily&Snape chose his path.Even if he didn't"mean"to call her a mudblood,he still chose voldemort over her, whereas James realised what he was doing was wrong.People think James is such a horrible person because of the movies.

  • I think the Ron and Hermione kiss was good... definitely better than the 'Harry and Ginny' kiss...

  • @ThisWaySketch that's not hard at all. I think snape and mcgonagall would have better chemistry than harry and ginny on screen... ;)

  • I agree with everything. You're brilliant, Beckie! :)

  • Another person who finds saliva disgusting!!! I love you even moire Beckie!!!!!!

  • i felt the same way about the slytherins being sent away!!!! >:(

it was so annoying because the whole way through they were saying how they should all unite together! >:(

  • I can't stop watching your videos! I love you Beckie!<3

  • "I have been and continue to be a Harry Potter fan... but this is how I felt about the final film, regardless of everyone else :D" by beckie0 not me :P

  • Did you know that Rick Mayal was originally cast to play Peeves in the film, but he just didn't make the final cut. Sad really, that is what those films needed!

  • @TheEditingShop I agree joel, I think peeves would have added a bit more humour.

  • It's really annoying how you keep reenacting the film :/ just want to hear the review :/ AND OMG I AGREE ABOUT MORE GRINGOTTS! My favourite action sequence was the whole of Gringotts.

  • O.o

  • I was terribly dissapointed in the last film. So much was left out, changed for the worse and/or minimalised!

  • @EternalAshira Judge the film for once, not comparing it to the book :/

  • This is amazing! I agree with all you say :)

  • Yeeessss I totally 100% agree with EVERYTHING in this video

  • In the book Harry puts the Elder Wand back into Dumbledore's tomb, not in a safe place in his office..

  • Amazing video. I think that all the things you said were correct, I agree at least :) BECKIE IS SO CUTE <3

  • uhhh, i miss Harry Potter..

  • OMG I FORGOT ABOUT PEEVES! HOW COULD I? Becca, the Slytherins JOINED Voldermort in the fight. There is a reference when Voldermort was yelling at the Malfoys. Memory scene was wayyy too short. And I did leave the movie crying but because Harry Potter was over. And I'm a 21 year old man. Not ashamed.

  • I agree with what you said in the video xxx

  • 7:15 sooo cuutteee!!! xD

  • I love the Back to the Future poster!

Also did you notice Dumbledore's hands switching from laced fingers to folding in King's Cross? I loved the movie, but that one part bugged me.

Great video! Your opinions on the film match mine pretty closely!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MENTIONING PEEVES. NO ONE REMEMBERS HIM AND I WAS VERY CONFUSED AS TO WHY HE WAS NOT THERE. I LOVE YOU.

  • What kind of software do you use?

  • OMG! The brown eyes drove me CRAZY!!!! It took me completely out of the movie!

  • I totally agree with you!!! Beckie I love you

  • Sorry another post - Yes the death's were rushed. The Weasley's loss and Tongs and Lupin's death I believe should have had more mourning time/screen time.

  • I felt the movie was rushed, but I did enjoy it.

  • I just teared up listening to this. I think I get WAY too emotional about these review videos. Probably because this entire Potter experience has been an emotional trip for me. Great video, Beckie!

  • "...a proper hug, not a Voldemort hug." LOL

  • I've missed the loft! :)

And of course the wonderful Beckie! <3

  • I really didn't like voldermort's death, they should have made it clearer how he died because, I'm the only one out of my friend's that has read the books so I know how it happens but in the film he didn't even get hit by the curse... Which annoyed me, and they should have kept his death in the great hall... I also didn't like how Belatrix shattered... I thought that completely ruined it, and also a lot of my friends were confused about fred's death etc. They should have stuck to the book more

  • totally agree beckie especially about the epilogue conversation and i think they kinda made hogwarts look completely different...

  • This came out on my birthday :D

  • I love your videos :)

  • I have watched soooo many harry potter reviews .. to just to see if anyone saw the 'eye' thing. I was so annoyed & confused why they picked the actress with brown eyes. Its been said countless times in films about Harry & his mothers eye & then. urgh. feels like no body else noticed or cared. ;(

  • its funny that you and I have the EXACT same thoughts on the movie! like... to a tee!

  • I understand why they clothed the both of them...Definitely understand.

When he snapped the wand...I literally screamed "WHAT!!"

  • Youre such a sweet young lady. thats crazy for me to say considering im 14 years old but youre like a rolemodel to me.

    XOXO Sarah

  • It really bugged me that the girl playing young Lilly was kind of Ginger with brown eyes, from the beginning it was emphasised they had the same eyes, and when it came to it they actually had different eye colours? I felt like the only one who noticed it lol

  • I felt the same way about pretty much all your points. I just remember how much of an effect the last book had on me and I didn't get that from the movie. But now I rereading all the books again :D

  • Rik Mayall was gonna play peeves but they cut him out :(

  • as much as I appreciated Luna putting her foot down...she is the cause of Harry not going to the ravenclaw common room, and for that she cannot be forgiven.

  • I agree about the Slytherins!! and there was no Teddy :( which is annoying x

  • I love listening to your rants,

it reminds me of all the stuff I forgot about!!

:) and I'm glad you mentioned the Lavender Brown comment,

I was trynna work out if it was her when Hermione blasted Fenrir Greyback off someone!!

    :D Great video :)

  • i agree with you completly! :)

i really want to see the film again so i can see more things i maybe didnt notice the first time..

  • I just want you to know I would give you a thumbs up!

And you summed up all my thoughts on the film, I agree with you completely.

  • i love Draco Malfoy.

  • Wait! When did Lavender die? I don't remember that!

  • They only did one take in the kiss scene. Emma was dreading it ever since the beginning. She really didn't want to do it ^_^

  • Peeves was awesome in the books, possibly my favourite scene is after Fred&George leave the school (after starting all the pranks) and they tell him to keep up their good work.

    Made me lol heartily!

  • I think 6:45 was just about the cutest thing :D

  • I cried soooooooooooo much , i had mascara all down me face when i came out of the cinema

  • YOU DIDDENT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT FRED OR GEORGE WEASLY(Cant Remember) DIEING!,I WAS CRYING MY EYES OUT INSIDE!,But Great Video Tho:)

  • I agree with absolutely everything you said XD

You missed one bad thing though...

Ron DIDN'T hug Harry before he went to die... I was like 'Whaaaaa?!" o__0

    Amazing video xx

  • Surely you should have Disapperated rather than cast "Disappearo" at the end? ;)

  • I couldn't agree with you more, although I was crying when I left the cinema. My childhood is now officially over :( The books, the movies and the memories will live on forever!

  • i agree with a lot of the things you were saying, i enjoyed the film but the snape memory scene did feel rushed to me and i was upset when they cut out the part where dumbledore said to him that sometimes he thinks they sort too early after snape told him that he's not going to run. Also i had a huge WTH moment when harry snapped the elder wand cuz in the book he uses it to fix his holly wand therefore what does he end up using and they didnt explain the deathly hallows at King's Cross at all!

  • I think we'll see Peeves in Pottermore :')

  • I actually have to agree with everything you said in the video, my feelings were pretty similar. However I must disagree about the ron/hermione kiss! I felt it was a lot more passionate and better placed than in the book, where to me it seemed a little random/stuck in because it had to be. I will never get over the awkward hug!

  • Comment removed

  • <3'd it... your gonna be mad with me when I say I have watched 3 films and read the first book yet I have my gryffindor scarf... :L I may have to borrow the books one day before I finish the movies!

  • Got to laugh at that Scottish accent....

  • Brilliant review Beckie! :)

  • I love your Harry Potter videos :D

    PEEVES. OMG, yes.

    I agree with everything.

  • i agree with so much of this...what is the worst part I think is that while to us who have read the books these things are just little annoyances, the people who didnt read the books just missed out on all the amazingness!

  • lol "they should have been naked " . yes they should have:)

  • I pretty much agree with everything.

It really annoys me that we never saw Peeves! Oh well!!

I am actually looking forward to the special features when the DVD comes out.

    Oh, what a nerd I am :)

  • What is the picture in the top left hand corner?!

  • i Teared up at the end lol :L x

  • At the end Ginny just looked like she was a little girl playing dress-up. They needed a lot more makeup for that scene.

  • But I have to say that the last two films were inredible and surpassed all the others imo.

  • Peeves was like a big filler in the books. I think the movies are okay without him, there are other things to focus on imo. The Grey lady omg Beckie she creeped me out I was so scared lol. Ghosts can't really do anything to you physically, I think that she showed that ghosts are scary by just being ghosts O_O. The Slytherin thing I agree with. Dumbledore's history was skipped, I hated the fact that in the 6th movie they really ruined Voldy's story. Worst movie. I was so shocked @ Lavender too.

  • I Saw Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 And I Thought Its Was Amazing!,The Fight Scenes Were Amazing,And I Dont Read The Books But As I Can Guess There Fantastic!,Love You Beckie:)

    -Katie

  • I still haven't seen the last film, but this gives me a good idea of what to expect ;3 I adore the fact that I can watch you for eleven and a half minutes and not get bored xD <3

  • It seemed as if at one point you were using an american accent. You should do a whole video trying one. Just because its silly/interesting. I have many friends from other countries and I always make them use an american accent just to see how different it sounds. Its really cool, actually.

  • Awsome video beckie :)

  • first, eh?!
