  • The loss of the antique radios is terrible! Fires are shocking, mate I hope you have rebuilt. All the the best!

  • Sorry to see the devastation and loss of your Club.

Hopefully you will manage to get something back together with the help of your members, good luck in the challenge ahead of you.

This is 'G1UXK' (Roy) over here in the UK got the link to your video from my friend Eddy G7GCS who lives just up the road from me.

  • Tough break! We don't have that problem in Eastern Canada (snow doesn't burn ;-) ) but the ice storms can be hell for amateurs. Good luck rebuilding. Hope you had some insurance...

  • It's saddening to see what's the club rooms, but we're all thankful that no one was injured.

Best of luck in re-establishing the club.

  • We have a beautiful club house (N5BL, The Mesilla Valley Radio Club) here in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I know how painful it would be to see our club house end up like this.

My prayers go out to you as you rebuild.

    73,

    Fred, WB4AEJ

  • Sorry to hear Michael, very sad.

Now I can see why our HF radio for the police station stopped working.

Keep you spirits up and call us at AREG if you need anything.

  • This is very, very sad & disappointing to see. I have never had the misfortune of losing property in such circumstances but I know how the club members must feel & all the residends who lost their houses. Having said that it is also heart warming to know that no-one lost their lives.

    Peter, VK5HPC.

  • Sad to see all the history gone from your club. Very glad no one was hurt!! I have some 2m FM900's if you need to replace some equipment, feel free to email me. Stuart VK2LSB

  • Heartbreaking to see folks, been through it also, kicking ashes at what's left I mean. Hope the new place is bigger and better, and if you want a couple of old radios donated Valve 2m, email me please, Kevin, VK3UKF.
