I think voice-wise Hillary blows Sara Evans away. However, Sara's performance on the awards was crazy good. She may have not been pitch perfect but you could just tell by looking at her and knowing that song and the emotion you could hear/see...she was thinking of her ex-husband. I feel so bad for her regardless who's to blame. But it's noone's business but theirs.

she is a co writer on this song. she has every right to perform her own songs she takes part in writing...im a songwriter so i know how that business works. Wish people would not throw the "stole" word around...country artists are way to classy to steal music. same applies to brantley gilbert and jason aldean issues with the 2 songs.. Jason bought those songs...brantley will always rock those songs till the end but music is like any other business...write to sell....

No offence to Sara Evans but this version is so much better than the original, seriously just WOW. Hillary looks and sounds amazing! And I had no idea Hillary wrote this. Lyrically this is one of my favourite songs, the past few months this has been one of the songs I've listened to most. Whenever I feel like everything's not gonna be okay, I listen to this and I feel a little bit stronger.

@sharapova4eva I disagree - Hillary does an good job, but Sara's voice has so many more layers, purity, power. She never goes off w/ a big vocal solo as usual, her voice in a comfortable middle range yet does not reach higher levels that Carrie, Miranda, or Sara achieve. She conveys a lot emotion, yet the backup vocal carries her a bit, making it sound fuller than she really is. She should just sing the hell out of a song.. I've seen 30 live shows & she's never delivered a amazing vocal run.
