Ok...I'm very impressed with the fact, you knew 1, 2, 6, and 7! With just a few notes! Those where not your common top 40, radio played songs during the 80's. Kudos, to you, I loved the 80's and would have been dumbfounded on those four! The others ones were very common to hear where I was growing up, and it wasn't a big city either! ; )

1) It was me who put the video together. I am roonsa. I just can't access that account because I've forgotten my password and when I request for it to be reset, the E-Mail never arrives.

2) I cut and pasted the answers from another user for quickness as all the answers have been written down more than once already in the comments.

3) Those songs were common top 40 radio played songs in the UK, where I am based! :)

Funny thing is my gf is American and I'm Dutch, so we guess different things. She knew #10 and guessed Madonna and Pat Benatar before me, while I got Bronski Beat and Terence Trent Darby before her and she'd never heard Dept S and Voyage Voyage.

That's right. Actually due to poltical reasons the 80's was an outburst of excellent music we didn't hear before. And we also got lots of excellent national rock. Imagine what it was like, with democracy to have all this together just at the time when I was becoming an adolescent and celebrating 15 year old parties with friends every single Saturday!

That's why I will always love the 80's!!!!

Nothing will rival them!!!

I googled "never want to get" + "with a new romance" and there were only 2 results [One being your comment] so there must be something wrong with your lyrics for sure. Can you give a hint (is it a man or a woman who sings? what instruments can you hear? ...)

I'll try to "sing?" it! I believe it's quite well-known.

The song is rather slow, sang by a woman.

I think it begins with a sort of -ing (nominalization)

The chorus goes something like this

parapanpan pan pan (high pitched) para pan pan pan pan

para pan pan pan pan (all this is instrumental)

and then it goes on with something like "Never want to .... (whatever it says)"

and the isntrumental part will be played again. I wonder which instrument it is.
