It's a good theme and ties in VERY well with the overriding musical theme of X4, but I always thought it clashed with the nature of the level.

I have not played X4 so I can´t express an opinion on if I think it fits with the stage or not. It sounds very well for solo piano, that is the way I prefer it, the melody would fit much more in an RPG and orchestrated.. on a much greater scale, anyway it´s quite amazing.
