  • @mth31216 Gansch horn

  • Sie sind und bleiben die wahren Meister ihres Fachs! Danke fürs Einstellen.

  • tuba players like "dawg im carrying the team on my back right now doe dis shit EAAASSSSSYYYYYYY" and the trumpets and trombones are like "CSO's got nothin on me"

  • what are they singing in the beginning when the trombones are playing?

  • 2:33 What is it that they are singing? I think it has something to do with mountains, firs and the sun shining, but I can't really understand.

  • @mboschm its a theme of a really old tv series called "Heidi" wich takes place in the alps.

free translated it means: "your world are the mountains, Heidi, Heidi, because up there are you at home. Dark conifers, greenfield in sunshine, Heidi, Heidi, you need to be happy!

its a very old an chinzy TV-serial wich was made for kids. the main character is a girl called "Heidi" wich experiences many adventures in the Alps. In Germany its really oldfashioned

i hope my english is comprehensible

  • @mboschm: they sing: Heidi, Heidi, Deine Welt sind die Berge. Heidi, Heidi, denn dort oben bis Du zuhaus. Dunkle Tannen, grüne Wiesen im Sonnenschein. Heidi, Heidi, brauchen wir zum glücklich sein...

  • whats the sideways looking trumpet thing?

  • @SimplyAwesome92 A rotary trumpet....standard for European trumpet players.

  • @altima169 They're all very old german rotaries

  • @bonumfatum457 They are custom Schagerl's...state of the art...nothing old about them!! Our symphony just got a set for its German repertoire. Used them this weekend for the first time on Brahms...amazing horns!!!

  • @altima169 First and second trumpets are using older rotaries (they didn't put rotaries on the right side till recent days.) The finish isn't lacquer either... 3rd trumpet yes , but not first or second..

  • @bonumfatum457 @bonumfatum457 The finish has nothing to do with it! They are Schagerl In fact, Thomas Gansch designed the trumpet and its called the Gansch Horn. Go to Schagerl site and check out the Gansch horn or go to Thomas's FB page and ask him yourself

  • @altima169 Didn't notice the bent bell pipe sorry!

  • Do these guys tour in the U.S.???

  • @MrAtomicHearse they will be in usa in march. check their website for further info

  • I will never hear such incredible music again. This group beats everything. Hands down.

  • Look on their faces: "I play like a god, no big deal"

  • i wanna see the end!!!!

  • I f*&kin love this!!!!!!!!

  • 12 violin players disliked

  • Fuck dis bieber shit.

  • rotary valve trumpets are pretty common amoung professional players. They have a much more mellow and lyrical style than regular piston valves. As for the tuba, I would imagine it has the two extra valves for the same purpose a saxaphone has a register key. They probably allow the layer to extend his range or make the tuba play in different . This is just an educated guess so dont take my word for it.

  • @thaifighter7693

Correct. I have and play a 4-valve rotary tuba. The 4th valve on my tuba has the some effect as the 1st and 3rd valves together.

  • @thaifighter7693 The 4th valve on a brass instrument actually takes the place of the1-3 combination, which can be difficult to hit in a fast sequence. As for the 5th valve on this particular tuba, I have no idea...never seen that before.

  • @homfencing The 5th valve (and "6th"... the little compensating lever) are used to make it easier to play in "off" keys. It also helps bring clarity to the pedal range of the tuba, which becomes notoriously out of tune when played aggressively.

  • i gave thumbs up to all the guys on the list

  • what is the name of the song they sing in the middle of the video?

  • @piponwa

    the ''Heidi'' theme

    watch?v=jjn2xAfOfzo

  • These guys are amazing. I especially like the beginning of this one. True Professionals but at the same time great Performers as they play to give the audience their monies worth and much more.

  • the big trombonist guy fired his trombone like machine gun all over the crowd :D :D :D

  • ayyyyy....check out the tuba at 2:43 and pause cuz the tuba has 7 valves.........!!!!!!!

  • @Afu916Mento it is a 5 valve melton kronos the other two are slide pushers

  • @golfisborring As I saw it 4 RH 1 left hand and 1 pitch lowering lever LH wriet to Brandstoetter, office@

    mnozilbrass.at

  • <3 roman! lol when they sing!

  • 1:17 simply the best

  • they have weird ass trumpets

  • nice blending of stacatto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Their tone and blend is so perfect!! Especially when the trombones have that first high tempo fanfare right after the trumpets

  • As a music lover, I think this is just ugly, but as a brass player, this is EPIC!!!!!

  • This music makes me happy

  • What the hell is that?!? A 6 valve tuba? A rotary valve trumpet? Someone please explain.

  • @deurerdan they're from austria...where rotary valve instruments are quite common. and i believe that tuba also has two triggers for slide adjustment. the cool things you get for being mnozil brass. xD

  • @euphonium9132456 I am a horn player, so rotary valves are nothing new to me. I have just never seen another instrument with them. How about the other 2 trumpets? Are they bent like that from the factory, or is this another Mnozil brass thing?

  • @deurerdan well i believe that the trumpet bells probably came from the factory like that...maybe by special request? I know for a fact that Dizzy Gillespie also had one like that. As for rotary valves...they're actually pretty common on tubas...maybe not that many valves, but they're pretty common. The majority of tubas i've played (I've played for 3 years) have rotary valves. xD They might be a bit less common on trumpets...not sure. xD

  • @euphonium9132456 Look under Schagerl Gansch, aslo a bass trumpet available

  • Anfoch nur da Hamma Bravo!!!!

  • needs more cowbell!!!!

  • Lmao at 1:07 the first 2 trumpets start to play and Roman is still in his stance and realizes they already started haha

  • @congadera think it's supposed to be like that. haha

  • Maravilhoso! Espetacular!

  • tpmpt player777 should learn how to speak before being al;lowed out in public.

  • @masterthief104 ok thanks:-)

  • @TopGearDog100 Its gonna take you a couple more years

  • @maplegodx150 i know that, i just look up to these guys :D

  • What kind of tuba is that?? I've never seen one with 7 valves, only 6....

  • @PhilCollenz on the older videos he plays a Rudolf Meinl, but this one is a Schagerl. Its a 5 valve tuba, the other 2 are to move the tuning slides

  • The ending made me nearly fking shit in my pants

  • What type of tonguing should you be able to do to play this on trumpet?

  • @ehdusjenny It's just double tonguing.

  • @LeMaitreDeSorts just very good double xD

  • @LeMaitreDeSorts Thanks xD It sounds too complicated to me for it to be a double tongue. I should brush up on my skills haha

  • Someone know the name of that german song at 1:26. Sounds like Oktoberfest music.

  • @ALSPEHEIR

"Wien bleibt Wien March" composed by Johann Schrammel

  • 2:10 too cool for words

  • sehr coole sache :-)

  • Damn! why'd they cut it off like that!?

  • that last minute or so is the funniest thing I've ever seen!

  • 1:55... who else notices gansch's lazy eye? even more respect for the guy, if i should say so myself...

  • love those guys

  • 3:00 Is SOOOO epic =o

  • 8 people need a stern talking to from professor paul

  • On the Contrary, Rotary, needs only to move 1/3 of what pistons need, so the shift between open or closed, is 3 times as fast, their trumpets are all rotary, just a special Mnozil design. With the rotary valves, it is very hard to bend the tones, therefore Tuba have 5 or more valves, and several compensation slides. And rotary trumpets are Very Very good in symphonic music or to makes fast changes in music that are stressfull for the lips. Piston trumpets are easy to bend and good for Jazz.

  • @Sihodude I agree except the dotary valve is not a mnozil design. None of teh instruments they use are their own design.

  • @schilke237 Yup the rotary valve are not Mnozil design, neither are old enough to actually have invented it:-) the first known integrator of rotary valves in brass instrument are Joseph Riedlin. But the way Mnozil brass's trumpets are held, looks allot like piston valve trumpets. Of course they have not designed it, but they helped the Austrian company, who made the trumpet, design its basic form, they wanted precision trumpets, that are easy to cary around, hence the "Ganschhorn" by Schagerl

  • @schilke237 So the trumpet two of the trumpet player is using is actually called a Ganschhorn. So yes they are a mnozil design

  • @schilke237 The trumpet Is called "Gansch horn" named after the trumpet player in Mnozil and are made by Schagerl, search google for "gansch horn". Gansch used to play on traditional rotary design, but because of their stage performance, they needed to have some that can be held by one hand. Gansch helped Schagerl to create this special trumpet.

  • @legodude5252

From what I learned, going from a piston valve Tuba to a rotary valve Tuba is that there is no change in anything really, just looks. That's what I've gathered anyway.

  • i thought piston valves worked faster?

  • 1:19 the best;) trombone;)

  • Holy trombone batman!!!
