A fetus is about the size of your palm after 3 months, which means it's brain is about the size of your thumb. Consciousness is real but it does not occur at the moment of conception.

You don't seem to understand the point I am making, I am AGAINST abortions. I do not pretend to be the decider of when life begins, I simply have more spiritual resources available to me than you do to make a firm decision. You contradict yourself without even speaking, if you believe that a person goes to heaven after they die (as most fundamenta Christians do) then a mother has simply sent her unborn child to heaven when she aborts it.

If however, you subscribe to eastern religious philosophy (buddhism, hinduism etc..) you would believe that the murdered child will simply be reborn again in a different womb where most likely the mother will carry him//her to full term. In that case it was the child's karma to be reborn as an abortion baby due to actions done in a previous lifetime.

I am not sure which people who do not believe in abortion you are talking about. I for one, at the age of seventeen had the choice of abortion or getting married. We got married instead and have two wonderful grandsons and a daughter as a reward for our decision. Dave that started Wendy's food chain was adopted. We adopted and have a lovely 20 year old daughter to show for it. Some of us out here feel that every child deserves a chance and that the government does not belong in abortion.
