the anime has 2 seasons , 24 ep each . But there are some more special eps...some are memories and stuf, but 2 of them are OVA. In those 2, there are alternate ending, in which , the guy : Tomoya, ends up with another girl, in this case: Tomoyo :P. You should watch it, its one of the best anime series ever :P. Hint: it get much better after second season :D. Its a slice-of-life anime, so the characters are about 24 years at the end of the anime :D.

we got kyou/ryou capter, tomoyo capter, but we are missing kotomi chapter :( even if i think tomoyo is the best, kotomi deserve one. also! nagusa deserved none of the seasons :O

I've never watch Clannad but I found out an actual couple was Tomoya and Nasgi but I want Tomoya and Tomoyo!! I was confused- Clannad first season have them together? What is OVA? lol

It is more a special episode than a ova, in the order of the broadcast, its the 24th episode.
