Being apart of The Ohio State Marching Band I get goosebumps and tears in my eyes every time i hear and play the song!! Playing it when the victory bell rings on a beautiful day in the Shoe to the beautiful sunset in Pasadena I choke up every time!! Carmen Ohio is what Ohio State is all about!!! No other school can touch it!!!
im not in the band but i am a huge fan. i flew out to pasadena to see this game and the rose bowl was playing really loud music over all the speakers in the stadium while carmen ohio was being played. it pissed me off
Unfortunately for those of us in attendance at the game, we only got to hear the last "O-HI-O" notes/words because the Rose Bowl was playing a commercial video w/song on their one major stadium screen.
It's good to see the Ohio flag flying in Pasadena. I'm pretty sure that Jimmy and the boys got a nice warm welcome home when the plane touched down at Port Columbus Intl.
