The door itself sure seems loud, for what looks like nylon rollers, and that coated track, my door is quieter then that!!!

i think the 1/2hp one is quiter then the die hard opener
the first one looks like our garage door when we moved in :) thhen we bought that crappy overhead door opener

Chain or belt drive?

Chain, then screw, then belt with battery backup.
oh. The Chain Drive seemed quieter than the Belt which is usually quieter.
The belt has a DC motor that makes an odd whirring noise compared to the AC motor that just has noise. LOL
