love the big thick screen but in all honesty..htc truly are making millions out of folks, its really not different to the last few handsets of htc...just a 2.1 update & bigger screen? my hero which i had rooted had everything with a custom rom, tooo fast for words. lets see what comes after the desire!! give it 2 months lollll

It doesn't have 1 gb ram it has 576 meg and the Nexus has 512. Nexus uses the old style scroll ball and the Desire has a optical one and of course sense ui is included on the Desire.

@Jabbypants, spot on. My bad_I meant 1Ghz processor! i.e the Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor. + the etc u have added! N/B that RAM =576Mb but 512Mb ROM. Nexxus has + active noise reduction but note that Nexus also has Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate.

the htc desire has an additional feature called htc sense and a bit more ram. You can always turn your desire into a nexus. Buy the desire

i think i will stick with the nexus one. Desire looks a little confusing with all the text and especially the photo gallery(very dizzy) looks unfinished. but i will wait it out WHO KNOWS???

no. as you can see in the video, it is another picture gallery.

@androidpit Are you sure? have you tried turning off Sense UI and see if it is beneath when it´s purely the Android OS, without any of HTC´s modifications on the software part?

@androidpit yes it does come with the nexus gallery because it is the android 2.1 gallery but htc has put their own gallery on it aswel.
