Jennifer and Dawn are absolute comedic geniuses. Also I just can't leave her out - Joanna is a brilliant and classy actress. To be completely honest I prefer Joanna and Jennifer together. Dawn and Jennifer are great but I personally prefer the on-screen dynamic between J and J.

jen is definitly one of the funniest woman on television, through acting and writing. Ab Fab is my all time favourite comedy, Vicar of Dibley second (love dawn french also) and i just went to see the French and Saunders tour in edinburgh on the 14th and it was by far the funniest thing ive ever seen, and to see them both working together in such a great way that they have done for 20years made me feel blessed i was there! im jennifers number1 fan and i cant wait too see wat she does next x

Funny thing about French and Saunders. Both of them seem to be a turn-on, sexually, more than they ought to (they're both getting on for 50 after all). But Dawn seems to be able to turn men on, while Jen can turn women on - even hetero women. Weird, really.

Well, I appreciate them mainly because they all are seemingly very modest yet endearing in a way. Always reflecting on their own artistic involvment and capacity. And they usually don't make fun of people although it looks like it. When they try to impersonate someone it's usually just as a reference point to their own stand on comedy and acting. It's a reflective type of comedy that is essentially female and that's why it is appealing to me.

well, yes and no. as the biggest fry & laurie, blackadder and the comic strip fan I am inclined to agree, BUT on the other hand, uk has enough crap shows, and the US gave seinfeld, simpsons and trey parker to the world. it boils down to individual cases, though I defo agree that UK comedy is generally on a much higher level

I've only seen a couple of Ellen Degeneres episodes, but I thought she was very funny. And I felt especially sympathetic when her show disappeared after she outed herself. But I don't think her kind of comedy and Jennifer's would mix. Oil and water. Couldn't see it working.
