Trying to do this sequence break without the grappling hook is a real pain. Took me many tries to get the timing right.

the grapple beam isn't present in this game, it is i super metroid, and in the prime trilogy.

I didn't say grappling beam, I said grappling hook. It's the item you need to latch on to ledges.

I did that once with diagonal bomb jumping from the right side of the platform. Of course, plain old bomb jumping is the best and easiest method to go. Very nice!
