A friend of mine just stumbled across this video. We were both there while this video was being recorded. When Derren says "Thank you Joe" at the beginning, he was talking to me while handing back my ticket.
Thats funny! I was there at Plymouth meeting Derren too, it was May 07? I must have been right there beside you. I'm seeing the tour again in Torquay in March.
Gah, If you could, can you link me to details on his next tour, Im from torquay and it has always been to far ro travel to see him. If He is actually coming to torquay that would be amazing.
I wish I could meet him...I cant picture him in Australia though, he wouldnt be able to wear his suits and I just dont think he would wear board shorts.
lol! No that musn't me, that portrait was A4 sized, mine was A3 and Derren wasn't wearing a hat when he met me. Although he was wearing a nice suit ... what am I saying - he always wears nice suits! Or maybe that's just me, I find men in smart suits very attractive.
I met him too last May and showed him two portraits I'd drawn of him, one I sent to his site a year before which he saw AND REMEMBERED (8-O) and then he signed them and gave me a kiss!!! YES!
Wow, i wish my meeting with him was THAT exciting!! At the end of this video u can hear him saying "oh my god!" - that's because someone was showimg him a portrait they had drawn of him.. It was really really good! That wasn't you was it?!
