I saw the last video of daniel on the floor, I am glad he has a wheelchair at last, long overdue which is the greedy states fault who should have gotten him one at age one., he needs a computer to talk with which you mentioned.
I think when he is 18, he should move to Mass or Calif because they are better
States for the Disabled to live in their own apartment. Section 8 , SSI and Medi-Cal and In Home Support Services. If he stays in New York he will get a Nursing Home and that is all they do.
Love this video! Great photography. Your smiles say it all, Daniel. I'm curious about your communication equipment, what you use and how it's working for you. You seem like a young man with a lot to say.
Daniel does not have any communication device, his commuication comes in the form of body language, eye gaze, and the things he has controls over. Such as the gait trainer and the power wheelchair. He currently has a tilt-in-space manual wheelchair with no self-help mobility. This power wheelchair does not belong to him; it belongs to Norco. They loaned it to Daniel for a brief period, so he can operate it proficiently to be more independent so that he can standup on his own.
