Nice, I was researching cameras for filming, and i plan on filming a ton of action shots, I had no idea if this camera could handle it, so thank you for this video
Really quickly, I can tell you that the main reason I purchased this cam was for its performance in low-light situations. Strange as it may seem... it's not easy to find a camera for ~this price range~ that DOES perform so well in such situations.
That said--with "proper" lighting--the camera performs even better (as would be expected in most cases).
@jkesewa Yah! My wife visited Ghana on a mission trip with her fellow chiropractors, where they donated their services, time, and TONS of clothing, food, water, etc. etc. :) She brought me back the tank-top shirt...
@ubaycentral Thanks Justin, hahahha but... naaaaah I don't even KNOW any hand combos, son! heheheh Although... there is ONE particular combo I want to learn... so... hmm. Maybe I will.
I wanted to parafuso at the end too, but... umm--I would have run into some shelves. That would mess up the combo, :D
I was considering this camera for a while but eventually went with the Panasonic HDC TM700... Either way deciding on a camera is just so hard nowadays cause you have so many conflicting reviews online.
@gshak33 re: HDC TM700... that is PRECISELY the cam I would have gotten besides this one. Only a few problems... 1) they don't make it anymore, and it's nearly impossible to find now... 2) it's more expensive(!) than it's upgrade, the TM900K or TM90K... 3) It costs like $200 to 250 more than the Vixia HF M40.
But yeah... I hear ya!! And I agree, a lot of conflicting reviews. You have to just read 3-6 of 'em and then see how it all works out for YOU.
Agree with angrymuffin, nice quality. What do you think of the camera overall? I might be gettin' a new camera myself this fall ;) Plus sweet moves man.
@m1kamies I did a lot of research on the cam, b/c... to find a cam that performs well in LOW LIGHTING conditions is not only difficult in general, it's difficult at the $600 - $900 price range.
I can't say I've tested the cam a TON (I just got it)... but all the independent testing sites/blogs/reviews I saw revealed the same message--this camera is EXCELLENT in low lighting, & is aces in most everything else.
The other cam I wanted was Panasonic HDC-TM90K, but it was too much $ for me.
@angrymuffin123 Indeed. That is probably because my old cam was running DV tapes... I was generally only using Windows Movie Maker (lol, all I had time to learn)... and the original cam was purchased in early 2007. :)
u did a great job for ur wieght
