Only 80's. This is hit-machine! "Radio Tapes 80" (search in google) is trandy music of the 80's. With smoke, strobes and discoball. Dance Synth-pop, melodic new-wave, and certainly top hit playboys this great decade.
Unfortunately that mixer has been discontinue. That sucks. Do you know another other one that are within your mixer range with at least same audio quality if not better?
@gracified24 I'm not sure, but I think Yamaha n8 / n12 got good reviews and they seem to currently be the only digital mixers around the original prices of the Rolands
why does your recording sound so good? I have an Mbox2 interface with it's own digi asio driver and it doesn't even sound that clear.. WTH! If i may ask: what interface are you using? thanks.
@gracified24 I have two setups - one with mixer and SSL Alpha Link MADI, and one mixerless with M-Audio Profire 2626. I typically use those two interfaces and sometimes an Apogee Duet2 and a little Roland mixer. For this video I believe I used the M-Audio 2626
@SynthManiaDotCom Thanks! And that's all live your playing it live? No mixing? I hear the music like its been mixed already. Did you add effects to it while playing? Correct me if 'wrong because I'm having a hard time acheiving similar result with my Mbox2.
@SynthManiaDotCom Wow! I did a youtube search on the Roland mixer and they sound really good. I might have to pick one up. So if I want to connect my Fantom G to it I could right?
awww. Linn Drum. Always wanted one, never could afford one. So i got myself a crappy Drumtracks from Secuential. Horrible Firmware, i can stell you. Crashes on stage with data loss and such - not the type of things you want to encounter. :-)
The Synth sounds are beautiful and the arrangement does exactly what you say :-) great piece, dude!
Great stuff! Very sad in that palm-beach-bare-feet-white-tuxedo-at-sundown kind of way. The music should really be called "Crockett all sad and alone", like you said :)
"I find D minor to be one of the saddest keys... Just play it and you'll start weeping instantly" (Nigel Tufnel, Spinal Tap)

@gracified24 It's all played live. The real time effects are reverb and compression, IIRC from a Roland M-10DX
