  • I wonder if other guys are actually watching this,

I don't need volume up for this video

  • lmao im 11 and i measured myself and i measured 36 A. hmph.

  • wtf theres nothing to measure .. the womans like a 28aa

  • YEAH HELLO . YOU CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING, THE VOLUME IS LOW AS EVER. FYI!!!!!

  • HATE the video, (INCORRECT, OUTDATED METHOD!)

LOVE the comments! (I'm psyched to see how many people are catching on to the CORRECT method!)

  • lol no1 knows anything anymore. ive tried all sorts of methods. i got results from a 30AA to 26B to 32C to 32D to 28E.

cmon guys i cant be all of those...

  • can't hear it. Pointless.

  • Okay the comments explain a lot...

  • Unfortunately this is very incorrect information. Generally you should add 3 inches to smaller busted women, and 0-1 inches for larger breasted women. And the cup sizing doesn't work at all!

  • @KimberlyArce Actually no inches should be added at all! Bra fitters never do enough research - generally what you measure under-bust is your band size, no matter how large or small chested you are.

  • @soph9 Yeah, that's why the best thing to do is try them on. The main thing is knowing how it's supposed to fit and know which type of bra you can/cannot wear for the best fit. Also the size depends on the maker. I wear a different size depending on the brand.

  • This is really disappointing coming from herroom.com. This system of fitting is the EXACT reason 80% of women are wearing the wrong size.

  • This measuring system is incorrect - adding 4 or 5 inches onto the underbust?! No, no, no. Then again, I am in the UK, so perhaps it is different here, but I am a 28DD, and if I tried to wear a 32A, I'd be squished in the bust with the band hanging off me! Hahaha, this might be how measuring used to be, but today, you just measure under the breast, measure the fullest part of the breast, subtract and there you go! None of this silliness.

  • @bridosbabe Well said!

  • the model is NOT a fucking B-cup!!! she's really a 30E or 32DD thts y women r wearing the wrong size!!! u DNT add 4 or 5 inches 2 the backband thts still TOO big!

  • @karianime1990 I'm 14 and I wear a 34B.. that's a b hun. experts would know

  • @SimsFreak111 thts not a b-cup hun altho it may look like it its not plus u'll understand when u get older go to victoria's secret and they'll tell u wats ur TRUE bra size

  • I know for a fact that I am a D, but band size is a problem since everything seems to be too loose, or too tight. When I tried the underarm method, I measured a B. When I tried the underbust method, I was a AA. lawl I'll try it again with some help, but really, I don't know how it could be that off.

  • @StigmataWolf

This bra measurement system is total bullcrap. I tried and it says I'm supposed to be a 34D when I'm actually a 32G.

  • Her band should be 30 or 32 NOT 34!!

  • @1111grl8 Yes, agreed!

  • Btw, anyone that thinks a 36B is more desirable than a 31B is an idiot. This same logic would mean that a 54D is amazing. Um, yeah if your into 300lb women. Or men for that matter. But maybe it's obvious to me cause I learned early on what the deal was from a 33C.

  • @irockheels

The calculator I've used with good results is: atlastravel.nazwa.pl/mini/

Measure around the underbust tightly and the bust loosely and enter measurements in inches. This usually gives a good ballpark estimate of size, although it will still be necessary to try bras on to make sure they fit.

  • omg I am so confused

  • lol I wear a 32B and apparently according to this, I wear a DDD of F. Nope!

  • IDIOTS! every girl no matter wat bra size who has a difference of 5 or four inches form her bust and underbust will be an A or AA. that makes no sense!!!! jeez!

  • @kittttyby2 thank you. Finally, someone smart is thinking the same. i wear 34DD but according to this woman, im a B lmfao

  • @kittttyby2 lol i thought i was the only one who noticed?? i kno im no smaller than a "C" an this "system" says im a "A"?

  • That measurement technique doesn't seem right , according to it I should be a 36F...I fit perfectly in a 36 D...

  • This video is not good at all. According to the measurements I should be a 38 A!!! What the heck!!!!

  • I agree w Fangedangel89 it read dat i was a 34G OH WOW! I know i dat ny breast r pretty full but idefinetely know im not dat big

  • I agree w Fangedangel89 it read dat i was a 34G OH WOW! i know dat my breast r pretty full but i kno der not dat big

  • Very helpful for me!!!!!!!!!!! ;-)

  • lol,..this video told me i was a 36 "G"!! LOL my chest is big,but not THAT big...lol :sighs:

  • This is NOT how to measure yourself for a bra. The girl in this video is not a 34B!

  • Why is my bra size negative? What size am I?

    31 band + 5 = 36

    34.5 bust

    34.5 - 36 = -1.5

  • @misstina140 u r size is wrong as u subtract band size from bust size

actually it is band -bust.so ur size is 36-34.5

  • @misstina140 i got a negative too! does this method even work?!!? gosh im confused

  • @PitterPatter100 Australian bra manufacturers are actually quite well known for having much firmer bra bands than US or UK manufacturers. That said, this system typically works well for Australian brands. However, when dealing with US and UK brands, which is primarily what Her Room sells, the bands tend to be much more elastic and this system often leads to tremendous inaccuracies. While this is not necessarily true for all US and UK manufacturers, it true for a majority of them.

  • other videos around here stated that you subtract from the initial measurement to get the cup size, not from the band size. Means if first measurement is 30 and the band size is 36 then the cup 36 - 30 , not 36 - 34!

Also some videos added 3 and other added 5 , here added 4 !

    Confusing !!

  • Very helpful!!!! :D I always have problems with fitting :((

  • i cant hear :(

  • @summerbabyx0x Need earphone to hear =)

  • Her Room could invest in a lav microphone. And given that 80% of viewers stop watching videos at 30 seconds, the video could be edited. Please Her Room, hire professionals.

  • A very nice White lacy Bra at the 4 minute 25 second part.

  • The best way to be fitted for a Bra is through an intimo Lingerie consultant. i got a wonderful lady who came to my house and helped me get fitted in all the bras I needed for my bra wardrobe. I found them through a friend.

  • Likes the Bras at 0:52 and 4:25 They are sexy and classy looking and do a good job of complimenting the woman!!

  • Where did you get the history information from? (adding 4 to even, adding 5 to odd)

  • why should i measure tight if I have to take a louse brand?

  • based upon this measuring system, I am a 32C.

I have yet to find a bra smaller than a 34C anywhere

  • @vmhx victory secret has bra that's 32 C :)

  • wwwwoooooow I'm an A cup.

  • I think it seems that the company is deleting comments... there were many more a little while ago... ^^ Ahh well, serves them right for awful marketing devices.

  • THUMBS DOWN - this video is WRONG. This system gives me a 34B - I am a 28G!

  • @Liln00bGirl According to this I should be a 32C... 32Ds hurt me. I am aching right now and ready to take off my bra. =.= I really want to start taking the new advice, and find out my bra size that way.

  • @Liln00bGirl I doubt it. Unless you rip every shirt you wear open.

  • @pkfighter343

Sadly, this comment reflects that you don't understand how bra sizing works. Cup size is relative to band size. A 28 band is a very small band, so a G cup on a 28 band reflects rather average-sized breasts. The size of a 28G is roughly the same cup volume as a 36DD, just on a much smaller band. This video is incorrect, and it is advice like this that keeps women buying the wrong bra sizes over and over again. You should educate yourself on the topic.

  • @andreanicole1124 This method is used very successfully by the company I worked for for 7 years here in Australia. My daughter uses this method over the methods advocated by companies like Triumph, as it gives a very good fit. However larger bodies/bust sizes do have complications and no method except being fitted professionally is effective.

  • @andreanicole1124 So can you direct us where the proper instructions are for measuring?

  • @andreanicole1124 You may have overestimated a bit. I see where you got your math (about a 30% difference), but it's hard to believe a difference of 8" in the size of your rib cage would yield only a difference of 2" in bust size. On a small frame there is not much room side to side for the breast and would grow out to increase volume. On a bigger frame the volume would be spread out more. I would guess it would be more like a C than a DD. And 36DD is not average; more like 36C. Unless your fat.

  • @blahblaht2011

I wasn't saying that 36DD is the average woman's bra size. I was only saying that it doesn't reflect freakishly large breasts. DD certainly doesn't get the same reaction as G. Frame makes a bit of a difference, but not as much as you would think. I'm not sure I understand the math part of your post - are you saying that you don't believe 36DD and 28G are equal cup volumes?

  • @andreanicole1124 Yeah, I thought there would be a bigger difference with the same volume, but 8" bigger ribs/chest. I was saying that the difference between 36 and 28 is about 30% (8 / 28) and the difference between a DD/E and a G is about 30% ( 7"G - 5"DD = 2" ) ( 2 / 7 ) on paper, but even though the math supports what you said, I thought the same volume when distributed & measured would result in a smaller cup size. Idk, though I am willing to do exhaustive testing to find out.

  • @pkfighter343 shirts aren't made out of paper you know. Something called stretching. I've been fitted for bras and every time come out with a 28G. It's more common than you think. I just don't understand how slim women with 25 inch waists manage to have 34 inch back sizes in bras. It doesn't make sense! There isn't a 9 inch difference between the size of your waist and the measurement directly under the breast.

  • This was NOT helpful at all.

This told me I was a D cup.

    I'm a b-cup.

  • I must be doing something wrong how the hell am i an A cup if the only ones that start fitting are B cups? what is this i dont even....

  • 2:25 ''a 36B certainly sounds more desirable than a 31B, wouldn't you agree?''

Yes I would agree, because unless the methods are different in the US, there's no such thing as a 31 band!!

With respect, there's not a single US bra measuring guide I've seen that has made any sense.

  • -1...that doesnt make any sense!!!!!

  • there is NO way that you add 4 or 5 inches to the band, that would make my cup size A (aka i have been wearing a D forever and it fits great) lol

  • Adding 4 or 5 to the frame measurement is not a good idea - in most cases you'll end up with a band that is too wide for you and unsupportive at all, in case of this model that you measure in the video, I would give her a 32 or even a 30 for some totaly stretchy bra bands...

  • I have been losing weight and my bras are not fitting well. I watched a couple of other videos on youtube and I knew there was NO way they were correct this video give so much more information that made my measurement make much more sense!
