I saw NECROMANCY back in 1979 on the local Friday late night horror movie show where i lived at the time entitled SCREAM THEATER. I was 11 years old. Im sure that it was edited for content based on it being on pre-cable TV circa 1979 but i remember it being decent for a low budget early '70's film.
@IwillloveGwenforever This films would have been released before PG-13 was created. The first PG13 film was Red Dawn in 1984. Spielberg was actually the one who suggested it after a backlash from the gore in his PG rated Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom
Horror on Snape Island was retitled Tower of Evil (also Beyond the Fog I think). I just saw it on DVD...pretty good! It was ripped off in the '80s as Hell Night. Asylum is not on DVD yet....
It would be nice if we could go back to the old rating system and dump PG-13. People who complain about Where the Wild Things Are being PG must not have even been alive during the '70s.
These horror trailers from the 70's are so cheesy and cool! However, Necromancy was a good thriller and it had a great cast. Thank you for this posting, robatsea2009. Happy Halloween!

WOW> I can't seem to find Necromancy anywhere.
I have looked for The Witching and Rosemary's
Disciple, the alternative titles and this film seems
to have disappeared.

Actually "Asylum" is on DVD - a special edition disc was released by Dark Sky in 2006 and includes a director's commentary track.

I know why there was horror on snape Island! It's because Professor Snape had return from Hogwarts.
