  • It's difficult to live with and more difficult to explain to bos and peers, I have difficulty driving when I can't feel the stearing wheel, especially if the road is covered with snow or might be icy, I will not drive if I don't feel safe, my bosses tell me I can't use this as an excuse to miss work. Dumb asses don't realize I have a lot of Dr. bills I can't afford to miss work, but I'm not willing to risk lives for trying to drive on slick roads for a day of work.

  • That is why many charities use prevalence estimates- the number will always be greater i.e. it will resonate more with people.

  • I have MS and I commend Montel for raising awareness about the disease, however it seems to me that The American Association of Neurology released the INCIDENCE not PREVALENCE estimate of MS in the US. The difference here is that prevalence numbers are always higher because they include everyone that has ever had the disease in e.g. their lifetime (lifetime prevalence). Incidence, on the other hand, only considers the number of new cases over a given time period- typically a year.

people... this is NOT spam... CCSVI also known as the "liberation" procedure is a procedure that has been shown to have a 70% or better success rate in "healing" those with advanced cases of MS. It involves enlarging the veins in the brain and neck so that blood flows properly and prevents iron (and other metal deposits in your blood) from breaking through the veins and damaging your nervous system... research it...
